Protein and Vitargo question!!! was created by viking87
Hey whats up guys. I'm new to forum and there seems to be a lot of useful info here.:)

Okay I have a few questions about whey. I'm sick of USN and all that, to put it plainly its utter sh!t. So I got some SPS Isopro which I'm enjoying a lot. I just want to know, how does it compare to WAR and SSN?

Secondly, I want to get Vitargo and I'm looking at Vitargo Juggernaut or SPS Aftershock. Now the Juggernaut is a lot cheaper and I am on budget but I'm willing to pay for the better I suppose. How do the two compare? Any feedback on the vitargo?

Thanks a lot.

i have only used the Juggernaut vitargo and its an awesome product...

well i think the SPS Isopro is a whey protein isolate which has got a higher protein and BCAA content then your average whey protein concentrate such as SSN and WAR. but there is a higher price tag involved with whey protein isolate...if you are on a budget and are looking for the most protein then go for the cheaper product and use more of it...i use 180g whey protein a day and if i was to use ISOPRO i think i would use alot more money then i do already...

Hi Viking ! (nice nick)
My personal opinion on Vitargo: just another form of simple sugar, it is around for a long time already (just new marketing), shows higher uptake rate, but nothing more … no better effect than normal glucose-sucrose mixture on glycogen re-syntheses or insulin secretion … freaking expensive and definitely not worth the money…
Get some glucose-sucrose and mix it with your isolate, add some leucine (5g) or BCAA’s (8-10g) and creatine monohydrate (5g) that’s it …… much cheaper much more effective
Just saw leucine 300g for around R180,- (RAWZ, Cpt,)

Thanks for the replies guys.

By the looks of it I'll probably not get vitargo, maybe I'll try it later on. Just quickly. where do I get glucose-sucrose and leucine? I live in Pretoria, any places? Whats good and whats not?

try "leutamine" from supplementssa ...

3 teaspoons(15g ) contains:
GlutamineBCAA’s Combo (8g)
Leucine (5g)
L-Phenylalanine/VitB5/D-Ribose Matrix (2g)

price should be around 180,- for 300g of the mix above
