How to use Creatine correctly

How to use Creatine correctly was created by Wimmas
Hi guys!

I've decided to start using creatine with my whey protein. I've searched the web and all over there are different opinions on how to use it according to your weight, loading phase and maintenance, drinking it only on the days of exercise and not etc etc

Here's the deal, I weigh 72kg's. Should I just start of with a normal dose of 5g a day and skip loading? How long should I use it for (Like 4 weeks and stop for two weeks and then start again), should I only drink on days of exercise? Can I mix it with my weigh right after training?

I don't want to damage my body or mess up it making its own creatine, I just want to keep it safe.

Creatine mono should be loaded... Unless you have already been on it for some time. I prefer CEE and you don't need to load it and you don't get the same side effects, with high blood pressure and excesive water retension.

When you take it is up to you, I like taking it pre and post workout. There is no 'real right way', however on non training days just take it in the morning.

if using mono i like loading like pump said.. 15-20gr for first 4-5 days then maintenance of 5-10gr pre/ and or post workout..

But I also prefer CEE, mono gives me splitting headaches and I doget better strength gains off CEE

Is it okay if I mix it with my whey protein or should I rather mix with grape juice?

I use mono only, pre load for a week at 20mg an then 5 mg before gym,5mg after gym with shake and 5 mg before bed with my last meal.I mix my L glutamine and creatine together and use as mentioned...

I'm the same as SPUNKYDELUXE, except i didnt do bedtime, i did around workout and on mornings of non training days. As far as i understand, it is best taken with a high carb energy drink because the insulin spike helps transport the creatine to the muscle. Conclusively, it can be mixed with pre workout supps and post/intra workout supps.

Bite harder when it gets heavy!
