Also called blood flow restriction training, I've been trying this out for 2 weeks and my arms (which have been the same size for about a year) have grown half a cm already. A lot of research has been done on this type of training recently and all of the fitness and bodybuilding youtubers (Bios3 by Gerry, Matt Ogus, Layne Norton, etc) are explaining it and doing it themselves. Basically, you take wraps and tie them around the top of the arm (just under the shoulder) or the top of the leg or calf (if training legs), not too tightly that you restrict the bloodflow in the artery but tight enough that the blood can't get out through the veins.
anyone else done it? I find the pump obtained is just incredible. My arms were so full that they went purple until I took the wraps off and when I did I noticed two skin splits, one on each arm. The pain is quite difficult to bare and I kid you not, I was one-arm curling 5kg with great difficulty at the end of my workout using this technique, but the pump is incredible and the science is very intriguing. Anyone else got feedback or an opinion on this?

This works very well. Known as blood starvation sets aswell...

If u dont wanna use wraps just do things like keeping your legs up in between sets of leg press or put your hands on your head between sets for arms. Once u done your last set drop your arms and more blood will rush into the muscle forcing it to feel like its gonna split your skin. Works well for arms and leg press! Keep your legs above your heart.it starts burning like hell with your legs in the air but when u stand up u know all about pump!!!

What I do for leg press is I keep a 1.5l water bottle full when I start leg pressing, i do 4 sets of 40 reps but between sets I leave my feet on the platform and I try and drink as much of the water as I can between sets... your legs will burn like never before whilst thet they are up. After my 4sets I stand up and u can feel the extra blood engorge the muscle like never before... do the same thing for arms. After each set put your hands on the top of your head. Drink as much water as u can between each exercise rather than set when doing arms. U will see why this method works

OK I did not think this would work, bet boy was I wrong.
Currently on a Keto, so no pumps is like the order of the day.
But not with this, biceps almost instant DOMS like pain from the swelling.
Quads have never heart like this, it is a different type of DOMS all together.
Dont know if it is diet or the training but my quads and biceps feel fuller and more pumped days after, the workout
