Hey guys,

My boss keeps going on about why I'm in the gym so often if I can just take his advise and go to bodytec. Ok, I am officially about to herniate. Do people really believe that 20 mins in a suite per week is more effective than lifting? Have you guys heard of this before?

So i just got a free 2 month program for Bodytec.

Wanted to hear everyone's views on it and found this thread.... so i assume it's a waste of time? lol

I'll make use of the 8 weeks though. I also think 20 minutes a week is crazy. Was thinking that i'll still add 2 or 3 days along with bodytec for the week. Maybe just see if it makes a difference when i have them focus on specific muscle groups.

I was also planning to hit a test cycle soon. Any on think it's a good idea to do the cycle while i make use of bodytec as well?

Far from a waste of time. Use it as a training day and do however many other days you can at the gym, it supplements your training and can be used for everything from one rep max to increasing Vo2max depending on the frequencies used. You can do a whole body workout or bodypart specific and can tell them what your goals are and they should be able to correctly train you with the different frequencies. A test cycle adde can only be beneficial in that regard.

I've only been to bodytec once but they seemed professional enough...

With time a lot of new equipment and techniques came out. But Im old school when it comes to training and food. Raw heavy metal breaks down muscle fibers and that's how you grow.

Just some feedback. I went for a session earlier and can still feel the pump. I can feel it especially in areas which i know are my "weak" areas. It also feels as if they managed to get muscles activated which i don't always get to around my core. I feel it worked great around my core as well as shoulders which are areas i struggle with.

The trainer was good as well. Due to my fitness levels he went up a bit higher than he would regularly do with clients but informed me that he is doing so due to me being able to talk as if we're having coffee. When he cranked up the intensity i loved it as i could feel a proper training session. He also took the time out to check which areas he could take to max threshold and did so with my arms, chest and quads. After the session he explained to me that there are certain areas he would like to focus on for my next sessions/s in order to bring them up to the same intensity as my stronger muscles.

Before ending off he took my stronger areas to what i can only equate to as my 1RM telling me he wants them to get the max out of my workout for the muscles that can handle it, at the same time not pushing my weaker muscles so that they can recover properly. When he did this it gave me some assurance that i'm with someone who knows what he's doing.

Overall feel good and was quite surprised that it was better than i expected. I had no idea i could get so much out of 20 mins. However this is the first session and i only just finished it about a hour ago. Will see how i feel tomorrow as he claimed i would feel a bit stiff when i wake up and should take 2 days for recovery.

As for the anabolics idea. At first i thought running a low test and anavar cycle would be good once i start the bodytec program. However i don't think anavar is a good idea with this. I already feel the pumps without any AAS and would probably cut my already short sessions shorter if i were using anavar. Will wait for the second session to decide if should start test e for the rest of the program as i can only see it as being beneficial. Will however keep it low at 1ml/300mg test e per week. Possibly split into 2 pins.

Thanks Oupa and Hormonas for the feedback on my initial query
