I can't do reverse hacks squats on my hack squat. What are the best alternative exercises for reverse hack squats?

maybe try backward dumbell lunges? Why can't you do hack squats?

For some reason they designed the hack squat at my gym in such a way that the weight is on the back of your neck/traps and not on your shoulders. So when I do it in reverse this pad is in the way. I am not sure if that is going to activate the same muscles. Will do a bit more research though. Was thinking behind your legs squats on smith or some kind of weird exercise like that

That will work to substitute Hack Squat, but not Reverse Hack Squat i think

Are you looking for a compound exercise for you hamstrings primarly but also works your calves glutes and quads?

Basically yes. It targets your Hamstrings, quads and what I feel mostly the glutes

Surely ass to grass squats, stiff leg deadlifts and various hammie curls are enough for targeting hams and glutes?
