just want to find out.
I have read so many different views about the best way to lean out legs. I know diets is key. But lets asume diets is perfact.

Would best be heavy weights, resp about 10 -12, or should one look at more plyometric work, supersets with high reps.

This is for women... doing figure.

Well assuming diet is in check AND that you have a good base structure on your legs I would recommend really keeping the muscle confused.
For example do heavy one week with a low rep range and the next week when you do your light weights really push as many reps out as possible.

What works for me is making sure all my cardio puts lots of stress on my legs. So I will do ALL my cardio either on a cycle/spin or stepper. I do both my morning fasted and evening cardio HIIT, and feels like it is really working.

I like to listen to my muscles, especially when training legs. So if you feel after your workout that you can do more and have more left in your legs. Do a FST-7 on the leg extension or curls. Or a last few walking lunges.

Goodluck!
