Hi guys

For the passed 3 weeks i have been punching legs trying to go deeper with my hack sqauts and normal sqauts and since then my knees are killing me. Leg days are mondays so yesterday my knees were just getting better this morning again iggggg broken. Is this normal cause i havent always been sqauting so deep ?

You mayve having issues to the knees and stabilisers not being strong enough due to previous limited range of motion, but The biggest thing to me is recovery, you probably are over doing it if you aren't recovering. Yes your knees are going to be understress from a heavy load. So maybe pre exhaust the quad and hamstring first before u hit your heavy compound movements so that your load isn't too high and you don't put stress on the knees. So look at starting your work out with hamstring curls supersetted with stiff leg dead lifts. Then go to leg extensions, then hammer your leg press and then squat. Yes your squat will be weaker but the muscles will be pre exhausted as well as quite warm. If not consider getting wraps.

Also maybe you are doing to much cardio or changing your style of cardio will help.also adding in 1-2 servings of SSN cytoguard to your work out water will also help. Many variables that maybe the cause. Maybe your glutes and hams are tight and nee to be stretched daily.

Sweet thx bud doing no cardio at the moment.
Will look at changing the excercises like u said see if that works.

Also, check your shoes. They could be the cause of your pain. When squating make sure you're not leaning towards the one side. It could also help using a wider stance than normal, with your toes pointing outward.

Like Steve said. Rest is the most important thing. Trust me, you don't want to tear a tendon. I've been there and that'll put you out for a couple of weeks/months.

Do squats first and warm up properly before doing it.

Hey Mince

If you are using Creatine drop that completely for a week or two and see if it improves. I have found when I am hard on legs and using Creatine my knees are killing me. I have not found the reason for this yet. But I am not the only one. Google it

Shit serious !!! will give it a shot maybe check next week.

I got my knees sorted they feel like a million bucks after 3 weeks and i dont have so much pain today.
Used that iceman stuff from dischem used it for 2 days.

Hudlim ill try out the wide stance check if thats a bit beter
