Hey guys

What do you guys do to help/prevent aching wrists? My left one is a bit achy, not painful just more of an irritation than anything else.

Mine get "creaky" and quite painful sometimes. I usually just wrap a piece of tape around my wrists to remind me to keep them stiff on chest day and not let them droop back into that 90 degree position which causes my issues.

Yeah mine feel the same, like when you need to "click or pop" your knuckles. I use wrist wraps on all exercises to keep them warm. not sure if its just wear and tear or a bit of an imbalance..

will try and use my fatgripz more to see if that helps

I've had some wrist pain issues on and off, for me keeping my forearm muscles loose helps a lot, try some myofascial release.

PLEASE NOTE: Products are ranked in decreasing order of potency. Products listed nearer the top of any particular health need are the most effective and have the most scientific research to support their use in respect of such health need. Multiple products, one from each bullet (•) can be combined with products from other bullets for added effectiveness, if needed, since products from different bulleted lines have different mechanisms of action. However, where more than one product is listed within a particular bullet (•), then only one of these products should be used, since all products listed within the same bullet share an identical or similar pharmacology (mechanism of action) for that condition. This is because whenever a particular condition is treated via multiple different mechanisms of action, the result is generally improved effectiveness. However, when products are combined that work via exactly the same mechanism of action, then no extra benefit is obtained.

Anti inflammatory medication is the number 1 enemy of the kidney, I would try all possibilities before taking even schedule 3 anti inflams. Maybe increase your flaxseed and see if that helps.

If you have sore wrists from MTB then your bike setup is most likely wrong, or your bike is the wrong size, or your brake/bar/shifter/wrist amd fingers spacing needs to be sorted out... In any case, as far as supplements go, Animal Flex is super effective for joint pains

@ pump - thanks bud, going to try some Flaxseed Oil Omega 3 and MSM from Solal

@ TheV, Animal Flex is a bit pricey but will definitely keep it in mind if the above mentioned doesn't start helping. with regards to my bike i also thought that could be the issue but have had it setup and checked by a reputable bicycle shop.
i do a lot of road cycling too, with the same bike and then im ok, its just the pressure from all the braking and constant movement while doing single track that gets me.

bike is due for a service soon, so think i should send it to another shop and just get a second opinion on the setup though.

Then you just need too ride more single track & rough terrain. Also check your suspension setup..

Try riding a 10min long DH track in the Alps! Arm pump city!!

yeah i'm hoping it's just due to the fact that i'm still new to single track and my arms/joints aren't used to it yet.
its basically where the radius and ulna join the wrist, both those joints feel constantly inflamed on both wrists.

started some flaxseed Omega 3 and OsteoEze MSM, so will see how things go.

don't think ill be attempting the DH track in the Alps anytime soon lol
