Training with injection pain was created by Furk
Hey fellas,

Are there any real physiological reasons not to train if you have injection pain? I'm referring to training the muscle site where you pinned obviously.

Eg, have had some weird pain recently in my quads where I pin, I'm thinking it's because I've been using a thicker gauge pin than usual. Aside from the workout hurting, will it impact the muscle in a negative way? My first instinct is to just push through (maybe take an anti-inflammatory), but then it occurred that maybe I'll train with less intensity or damage the site further. Is my subconscious just being a little bitch?

Cheers in advance.

Great question. Have also wondered about this, specifically when training legs the day after pinning legs and suffering from bad pip.

Yeah hit legs today, just sucked it up. But this specific pain isn't anything like the PIP I gotta off Prop. Prop made the area hard AF and the pain was debilitating to the point I walked funny to avoid it.

Anyway, I'll do some reading and get back when I hate something substantial.

You need to rest your quads till the pains gone, it WONT stop. Use arnica oilds and rub it hard for 7 days, let me know how it feels then ;)

Hey Oupa,
Cheers for the remedy, noted down. So after hitting legs yesterday it acutally felt better. Completed my usual routine and even went up a bit. Like I said, it's not a debilitating pain, so unless it's gonna cause harm or hurt gains/performance, I don't really have a reason to hold back.
