Tips needed for lower pecs was created by Tmuscle
Hi guys
Need some advice for lower specs
Routine at the moment below
Flat bench x 5 sets
Decline bench x 5 sets
Incline bench x 5 sets
Cable crossover x 4 sets
Low pulley crossover x 4 sets
Pec deck x 4 sets
Dumbbell pullover x 4 sets
Seated dips x 4 sets

Weight goes up each set with reps coming down in accordance with weight loaded
Last set is at my 80% of 1rep max
Struggling to get rid of fat on lower pecs
Upper pecs making solid gains
Any other exercises I could add to target the lower pecs?

Thanks guys

Bud, do you do reps on pecs everything you do chest? Way to much. No ways you can go to failure. Only 3-4 excersices per muscle group per session and hit them hard too failure. Try that, results will come. A full per makes the lower per looks bigger.

Sore today, strong tomorrow!!!

First set is 15 reps then 12 10 8 6
Cable sets are high reps
3 seconds down pause at bottom 1 second and 1 second up on benches

Agreed. If you make your weight lifting session last too long, the muscles lose power efficacy, eventually you are going to be doing endurance training AKA cardio. Don't believe me? In that exact routine, write down the weights you do for each exercise, then do the routine precisely backwards with the same weights. It'll feel retarded. Muscles tire out. The way you trained them and when they are fresh are going to determine what's your most powerful lifts.

I can't think that anyone needs more than chest dips (like lean forward on the //-bar) and decline bench for lower chest. To make sure you hit them proper maybe focus on lower-chest at the start of the routine. It sounds like you want to spot-reduce chest fat, doesn't work like that. You are either just a bit over-weight everywhere or your fat disposition is very "estrogen like". (Not an insult, just an obersavtion from the little info you gave).

Hope the logic makes sense

For lower chest there are three heavensent exercises, decline DB press, dips where you lean forward 30 degrees, and decline bench on the Smith machine then what you do is you go idiot heavy and just focus on the negative rep. Even get a mate to help you get the weight up. Remember the most important part is to feel the area and squeeze it like it owes you money! What I see people do all the time is decline maybe 15 degrees. You need to make sure you do it properly as in 30 to 45 degrees.
