Leg training advice was created by Exomorph
Hi guys. Lookin for some advice from the pro's. Been training for a while now but my legs don wana grow. I manage a very busy restaurant and some days I walk up to 20ks in a shift. My samsung health app is very proud of me. I think its all the walking thats making my legs stay lean. They just cut and cut. I do legs 3 times a week and I do low reps high weights. 120kg squat leg exstensions up to 70kgs ec. Any advice?

Lower the weight and up the reps. 6 sets and 15 your lowest reps I trains quads and calves at 30;25;20;15;12 pyramid up in weight then break it down so you can do 25;20;15 then break it down like drop set style. Do perfect reps and focus on time under tension feel the burn and squeeze the muscle

It is on you. It always has been...

If trying to bulk up yes but You could still do one lekker 40-60min session once a week just to keep general health and fitness up

I think the volume of your let let training is too much training them 3x a week. Once maybe twice a week if you split hamstrings and quads. What does your current routine look like?

Well it's all fine and well to be doing that volume on leg extensions but no one has ever gotten massive legs from doing leg extensions.

Barbell back squat 5 sets 5 reps
Deadlift 3 sets of 10-12 reps
Leg press 3 sets of 12-15 reps
Walking lunges 4 sets of 6-8 reps
Dumbbell stiff leg deadlifts toes elevated2 drop sets 8-10 rep.
Glute pull through/good mornings 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

If you can do that with decent weight just shy of failure for every exercise apart from the squats, I am pretty sure you will grow.

I am not able to train twice a week when using heavy compound movements like that. You should be wrecked after leg training and you should be recovering for the rest of the week from that.
