I'm looking to change things up a bit and give the super high volume method a go - I see Alan from every damn day fitness has a killer program - guys can apparently not walk or brush their teeth for a few days after doing 10x10 sets for major lifts, and then equally brutal ancillary and isolation work. The plan is to get this done during a pretty heavy dbol, test, deca cycle for 12 weeks - and then go straight into a deload phase.
What are your opinions on the training style - worth it?

I'm finding it almost impossible to get a full session done within an hour (which is available time) so am splitting the load over 6 days to cover all muscle groups.
Trust me, if you think leg days are tough, 10x10 timed sets are a killer. There's no way you can do steps on leg day, and brushing teeth on chest day or arm day just doesn't work out well.
I've had to significantly up my calorie intake for recovery, like 500 over and above my current surplus - if I don't, I'm exhausted.
As far as growth goes, it's early days yet, but I'm definitely more vascular and my jeans tighter around the quads - I'll take measurements after the 4 week mesocycle for confirmation, but I'm expecting from the amount of pain that they'll be impressive.
