Hello

Hope you all are well.

So lets start off with chest.
-As i move to heavier weight my right side of my chest specifically the part right by the shoulder almost under the beginning of the armpit gets strained.

Any recommendation on how to improve flexibility perhaps etc or a cause of the strain,Its not painful or sore just as the weight is the closest to the chest it strains.

2nd part of this post is leg development related.I have a big tear drop so much so it dominates my quad.
Now i have read all the recommendations for outer quad development.
Question is with foot placement.
-They say a narrow stance is recommended.
-But how narrow exactly as too narrow ROM is lost.
-Also toe direction is mentioned.Pointed inwards but again this limits ROM of the movement.
-On hack squat and legpress how high to place feet.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.Just note my legs are developed already to a good extent so targeted approach is needed.

Thanks

Hi

I used to have the same problem. Mine was sore and not just tight, so obviously I started treating with Moove and Voltaren (Gel and tablets) that helped until it was chest day again.
I am not diagnosing but mine turned out to be that the muscle was "too short" so i had to start stretching the chest and anterior delt before and after excercise. I now stretch upper body every second day pre and post workout and my lower body daily pre workout. Problem solved and i am nowhere near as sore the next day as i used to be.

.

Thanks[/quote]Yes I feel it might be the same in my case I am not the most flexible person when it comes to chest mobility. Will look into the stretching as a solution.
