Sup gents.
Any recommendations for a small home gym setup? Goal is not to go hardcore but just for general fitness. Checked those Trojan Makro machines and wondering if anyone has experience with them or should I just purchase free weights?
Thanks!

I have that trojan gym 2 I think it is, here at home on my veranda, it works so well, but I don't train at all for size anymore, I surf so I only use a few plates on it now.. It's gotten a bit rusty so I'm looking to replace it with the same one as any moment something is going to break bad.

Do you use free weights along with it?
I'm currently dreaming of a new house at the coast... along with dedicated home gym.

I have the Trojan Power Gym 2.0 (62.4kg). I find it perfect for training at home and can use it to train my whole body. I also have a walking pad, I work from home mostly so this helps me get my daily steps goal in between tasks. Then I just have a barbell and set of adjustable dumbbells. I want to add an elliptical machine at some point. I don’t think I will need any other equipment after that. I also have a gym membership if I want to use specific machines too.

Anyone used something like this as a "base" to build a home gym?
