Hiya all,

Ok, so I feel I had to share this with you. A lesson learnt not the nice way.

I started taking supplements for the first time. So seeing I didnt know much about them, bought the USN Starter kit. It came with Phedra Cuts. Took them till they were finished and drank like a camel. In all honesty, I did somedays not drink as much as I should have, but it didnt seem to impact my body or training.

I have since moved on the Hydrocuts. I was told they are more potent...so I took 1 a day for the first week, and now Im on 2 a day in the second week. I didnt feel much different when comparing the Phedra Cuts and Hydrocuts, so I drank the same amount of water (About 2 litres a day). Every now and again I would not drink the 2 litres and have a cup more coffee than I should in a day.

Yesterday was one of those days. I only drank about a litre of water and had 3 cups of coffee. This is when I learnt my lesson. Went to gym...hopped on the Ergo and did 5 minutes at 80% intensity. At the end of the 5 min....I didnt feel well. Light headed. Went to bathroom at gym...sat down for 5 mins...then felt better. I was like "WTF was that?". :S

Anyways...back out I go...hop on the treadmill. 2 mins into my run...sharp pull in my right calf. A tiny cramp came and went. So I stopped the treadmill. I dont get cramps...ever! This was the first time. So I stand on the treadmill, move my foot around to stretch my leg....then BAM!! The cramp hits my calf. Damn is was painful...couldnt move my right lower leg...was cramping real hard. I sat down on the side of the treadmill...and applied pressure...waiting for it to ease away. It did after a few minutes. :)

So ja...this is a warning to fellow noobs like me. If you are advised to drink 2 litres a day....drink the frickin 2 litres a day + more!! I like coffee...but Im moving to decaf!! :P

Hydrocuts are potent...not gonna make this mistake again! Hope this helps someone in their training. Wanna train hard, take your meds properly...else they gonna abuse you! :P

Next time you get that cramp rub the calf with all your might. At least you won't have it for 3 mins!! And i suppose it felt like you trained the crap out of it for a while after as well?

Ok I'm not very familiar with the hydrocut's product,,, but I would assume from the name that it's some kind of diuretic ,,

diuretics will cause you to cramp more easily,, and I don't see a reason to use a diuretic unless you carry too much water,,, are trying to control your blood pressure ,, or are preparing for a comp.

Any "weight loss" you get from a diuretic is only temporary

If it's not working,,, take double,,,
