Very much so and is very common actually, you have a mental and physical boost so you push the limits and thus the over training. Thus usually leads to injury and loss of momentum in your training.
It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.
it is very easy to overtrain i did it for a few months, also whilst on cycle coz u hav this feeling that if u take a dayoff training ur being lazy or wasting ur cycle! but rest is when u grow! the area about over training is a grey one! it works for some and doesnt for others!
