This is not a bad idea hey. The carbs in here are all sugar which will be fine right before a workout. And the fat in the egg yellows are actually quite low.

Not ideal for 10 minutes pre workout. Milk takes a long time to digest, as do eggs. 4x Egg yolks is about 19 grams fat. Blood flow will increase to your digestive system leaving less blood and oxygen available for your muscles. Less oxygen available to your muscles means faster muscle fatigue during your sets and lactic acid buildup. You will feel like you're buzzing with energy from the caffeine and sugar but that doesn't translate to muscle power.

Lol there is no such thing as empty calories, read that sentence again a few times! I'm sure he leaves it out for a good reason, but a calorie is a calorie, some digested faster than others but none of them are empty:p

Plus if you drink no milk I hope you are supplementing with calcium as our bodies need lots of it to keep bones healthy.

A Empty calories is just a term to describe calories that have little to no beneficial factors, like no nutrients. Whats the point of eating something that's not going to do anything for you. There are plenty "empty calories" in milk eg.
sugar.

I not saying there's no use for them but unless you need them for a workout or postwork in form of dextose then I dont see the point.

there are alot better things to have instead of glugging down milk, but this also depends on your body type and your metabolism.

oohh ok I see. Ye I hardly ever drink milk, sometimes I treat myself to milk post work with my whey, just because unflavoured whey and water all day everyday can be sickening!

Ok I'll say it again, calories is calories, one does not have more nutrients than another, the food itself yes, but your body needs energy in the form of calories to preform certain tasks like protein synthesis ec, that calories can even come from things like milk...;)

Like dj said, this is diet and person dependant, I for one add milk to my dieet, still staying lean with it in

I would do fat free milk and egg whites. HAAIBO caffeine pre-workout. Stimulants are vasoconstrictors and actually decrease blood flow. I like whey isolate and egg whites with glutamine, bcaa's whatever aminos you have on hand as a pre-workout protein source then some oats raisins and honey! :P

Lets go!

you think it would really work out cheaper to do the 4 eggs, milk and sugar everyday opposed to a simple whey isolate and water shake?

I know some guys that drink the first milk a cow produces when they had a calf, there's a name for it but can't remember! Its pinkish in color due to blood mixed with it, high in protein :X

Ya only half the protein in raw eggs is absorbed by your body vs over 90% in cooked eggs, and raw eggs have a very slow absorption rate. Not ideal in any bodybuilders diet.

Oh yes, those were the days. Drank many liters of the stuff and there is nothing better to gain weight. Basically it's nature's natural weight gainer. You need a strong stomach to get it down at first, but you soon get the hang of it. I found that mixing it with strawberry flavored whey is best and you get a protein shake thats as thick as yogurt almost.

I selected the best quality colostrum myself, so knew it was clean and free of blood and mastitis, so it wasn't disgusting at all. Avoid the first day's colostrum, because it's too fatty. The second and third day's are the best.

Wikipedia wrote: Some athletes have used colostrum in an attempt to improve their performance[30] decrease recovery time,[31] and prevent sickness during peak performance levels.[32][33] Research fails to show a conclusive effect of colostrum on lean body mass.[30][34]
Low IGF-1 levels may be associated with dementia in the very elderly, although causation has not been established.[35] People with eating disorders also have low levels of IGF-1 due to malnutrition,[36] as do obese individuals.[37] Supplementation with colostrum, which is rich in IGF-1, can be a useful part of a weight reduction program.[citation needed] Although IGF-1 is not absorbed intact by the body, it does stimulate the production of IGF-1 when taken as a supplement.[38]
Colostrum also has antioxidant components, such as lactoferrin[39] and hemopexin, which binds free heme in the body.

''wasted'' calories are only a waste if you are on a calorie restricted diet. Milk is high in calories for the moderate amount of protein you get in it... Not good for dieting or carb sensitive people. But if you are a true hard gainer then go mad. I LOVE full cream milk, can drink a litre in a sitting, and for me it just helps to make up the extra calories I need to force down my throat :D

Um, but im scared of needles...
