The Dark Knight Rises

I saw the Dark Knight Rises yesterday, and it is one of the best super hero movies I have ever seen by quite a distance. Anyone else seen it ? What did you think ? Don't include spoilers for the folks who haven't seen it.

Hear about the gunman in the States who killed people at the premier? As a result they have banned bat man costumes in the states rather than enacting stricter gun control.

I heard, a kid killed 12 people and injured 40 in the States. He said he was the joker, apparently booby trapped hes house according to the FBI. Making headlines everywhere.

I thought it was only out on friday!

@ mr t...ok, i aint samurai, but my 2 cents...i personally liked it better...in fact the previous one, the dark knight(it was really good, but think with ledgers death, that pushed to become what it was in terms of popularity!) was my least favorite of the 3! I loved batman begins...the nostalgia of it, him learning to be batman, seeing the bad guys seeing him for the 1st time....

Rises had a fantastic bad guy, bane...i liked the muscle mass hardy put on for the character(liked the muscle mass bale put on for Begins, he dropped quite a bit after!) but all in all, although the movies running time is 165min, i honestly felt it too short! It just sorta skipped along...there was soo much more that could have been added, so much detail left out...it was like a summary of what the full movie should have been! I really liked the touch of Robin in the batcave, he reacted the same as bruce in begins when the bats flew by...just really sad its ended...wish they would do another, maybe have robin as the bat, get a guy to kill of cat and maybe robin to force bruce back to be the bat...bruce should never retire! Like...batman beyond, till he is too old!

+1 for the effort man! i see what you are saying because i also proffered the first, ill let you know what i think of Rises...

I thought the movie was epic, but not better than The Dark Knight, close but not better. Its a shame that the trilogy has come to an end but i felt its a fitting end to and awesome trilogy. Nolan is now busy with rebooting SuperMan aka Man of Steel (Movie name)

I did find that i couldn't always here what Bain was saying, anyone else have that problem ?
