Anyone been watching olympics? what your guys views on it entertaining or boring?
Well done to Cam van der burgh on getting our first gold medal tho!!

Been watching since it started. Cameron had an epic swim, first the Olympic record in the heats and then the first SA Gold and a World record. Hope their is many more medals to come.

was watching some of the weightlifting yesterday too, 46kg women but they are beasts wtf haha

I have also been watching i enjoy all the events.

Watched the 56kg men weightlifting last night, was awesome- don't care too much for some of the other sports!

weighlifting is awesome keen to check some of the heavier weight classes,
sprints are also good to watch!

haha I put hot girls playing volleyball on tv for the guy so he doesn't have to focus on everything I have to do in the morning. I think it's quite thoughtful

Yeah, on second thought that doesn't sound too bad. I'm not allowed to look at any women, so I guess you are not so strict.

I'm not really interested in the olympics, but the volleyball girls you talk about might be worth watching... :blush:

I was watching the 62KG mens weightlifting last night and was well impressed with Kim Un Guk's performance. Kim not only won the Gold medal, but matched the World Record Snatch with 153kg. I find that impressive. I assume he had to win, who knows what happens to the North Koreans when they go back home without medals.

I was even more impressed with the tiny Indonesian weightlifter who won the bronze medal. He is so tiny. Well done to him

I dare not think about the gymnastics though. The Japanese being in fourth place and then suddenly being in 2nd place due to an appeal. Poor Ukrainians

How is SA doing at the Olympics?

Still only got the one medal. But hey, it is gold.

Some sore losers at the Olympics. So now only the winners are on the sauce while everyone else is just so squeaky clean. Yeaaaa right
