pre-workout addict!!! was created by Wayne
Ok, been training for quite a long time with pre-workouts such as jack3d and other NO2 stuff. Stopped everythin with fasting came up. Back in training now for 2 weeks with no pre-workout, just have some whey, creatine and L-carintine before working out.

Now its just not the same, No focus, no pump...I get thru my workout but it just does not feel that gr8...Been reading that pre-workouts like jackd3d are not that grand after all....so...whats the suggestion for a relatively inexpensive good pre-workout for a good pump and some focus with out the negativity of jack3d band of pre-workouts?

I'm enjoying the new Purus Labs one, ConDense.

It promotes vascularity, which I'm starting to see, plus it hasn't got that DMMA stuff in it. That shit just made me

The one online shop up here in Joburg has it for 385 for 40 servings.

Try it out..

I am a big fan of noxipro, retails around 340 at pick n pay. However, in terms of best bang for buck, I was thoroughly impressed with evox 3dt muscle punch and at 149 bucks it was really worth every penny.

My favorite Pre workout was defiantly MP assault, but its expensive.

With hard work and dedication you can achieve anything!

I got the Melon Berry flavor, it's okay. I've had much worse tasting PW's before.
Just a work of advice, mix it with a little bit of water, then up the water to your taste.
The recomended 236ml of water makes the Melon Berry taste weak...

I'm not vascular at all, and I'm seeing a few veins pop here and there.
I can also feel the endurance enhancement it claims.

Dont be fooled by the small container, the serving scoop is very small.

Maybe take a break from pre-workouts for a while, and try getting your mind used to focussing naturally. I was just the same about a year ago, I felt like I couldn't have a good session without a pre-workout until I developed an opinion that pre-workouts can't be good at all for your heart (just my opinion, not saying it's right). Now, I can't bare the thought of going back to pre-workouts! I tried one several weeks back at just a single scoop and I crashed the hardest I've ever crashed.

I feel like I get a better reward out of getting my mind to focus, and pumping myself up with music rather than taking pre-workouts, and I doubt I'll ever go back. Plus, think about the hundreds of Rands I save each month that I can spend on other things. Maybe give it a try for a while and you might turn out to be the same :)

Getting to your question, when I did take pre-workouts I really enjoyed one called 'Chemical X', don't know if they still make the stuff, but I felt like it worked just as well as Jack3d plus it was much cheaper.

I used pre workouts for 3 years, tryed everything.

I find the best is eating 200g oats, 30g dextrose and 60g whey(put all in a blender) about 50mins before workout, then about 20mins before my workout i have some CEE, beta alanine, taurine, l carnitine and 5 grams of bcaa, i get great energy and pumps from this stack. I will never try a conventional pre workout again..

How do you manage all that food pre workout? I do my weight training in a fasted state in mornings and find that my workout is much more intense than if i consume food before hand. Just a pre workout or double espresso and i am good to go

I put 200g oats in the blender without liquid and put it on for like 2mins(oats become powdery), then chuck my protien, dextrose and water. I used to get bloated from just eating 100g oats and my protein shake before my workout but since Ive been using the blender i get NO BLOAT i could easily put 300g oats in if i wanted to and still be fine, and it tastes great.

Oats with raisins and honey pre workout - I add a little fat free milk, this I have 1 hour pre workout then 30mins pre workout i will go for beta-alanine and a voodoo-nutrition vasomax cap...and also like 5g monohydrate. Sip bcaa's while you train or an amino acid drink like nutritech's amino boost - GREAT PUMPS!

Lets go!
