Does R200 sound decent for 5l of olive oil?

Yeah that is quite a decent amount Bro. Just be careful it is not a dodgy no name brand. I there was a thing a while a go that all olive oil tested is just normal oil aka sunflower oil

Sounds like a bargain. My wife was just bragging she found 500 ml for R40 :pinch: I'm sure quality is also a factor, but I'm no expert.

If it is a decent price... I found this guy on a farm in western cape area and thought if anyone was interested to put up details? Don't know if that's allowed???
I thought the price was decent from what I normally pay at the shop.

Seems legit. Its from a olive farm. Surely he won't put sunflower oil in? Lol

if im not mistaken, I believe that the ones checkers and fruit and veg are selling are olive oil blends. Basically 60% olive oil and then a mixture of canola and sunflower oil.

One I buy is virgin olive oil. I don't use any sunflower oil anymore. So bloody conscious about what I put in my body these days. Driving my chick up the wall. Lol

They delivered my oil a while ago. Smells and tastes good.

I buy a brand called ILIADA from Checkers, and if I'm not mistaken I think it's around R36 for 500ml. It's extra virgin olive oil, not a blend of shit! It's the legit 15ml = 13.7g healthy fats!

So if you get legit olive oil @R200 for 5l, it's bloody cheap!
