Injured wrist. was created by p1et
Ok so i had some previous problem with wrist pain especially while doing things like biceps. This went away over time and i actually forgot i ever had trouble with them.

Recently i started doing alternating upright dumbell rows, it put alot of tention on the inner side of my right hand wrist due to the dumbell hanging lower on the one side. So now my wrist feels stuffed up again. If i had to guess it feels like the joint itself, or more the smaller bone on the inner side of the wrist.

Anything you guys can recommended which might help with a more speedy recovery? Im taking this week off from weights and hope to start my cycle the week after.

Hi Prog.

Which side, the side of your thumb or your little finger? Do you get any numb feeling etc, or is it just a pain-ish feeling?

The little fingers side, its just a general pain, not numbing or pinching, thats why im saying it feels like a joint?

Could be that you have inflammation in the pisoamate, pisometacarpal and collateral ulnar ligament (basically ligaments that stretch from your ulna to your wristbone to you little finger.

Could be that these ligaments were now again "injured" or inflamed. Voltaren and ice packs will help with healing, also, the moment you feel pain in this area, stop with that particular exercise and give the ligaments time to heal.

Arthrochoice and arthroguard that you can get at dischem work well. Most joint support supps contain similar ingredients like glucosamine, chondroitin and msm. Those 2 are good value for money. Another option is a supp that contains cissus. Supplements SA has Cissus Q that is half the price of most but I can't vouch for the quality.

Arthro Choice is something I swear by, my dad had problems with the cartilage in his knee and his doctor advised an operation, can't remember the details but they wanted to fuse something or cut away. My dad went for a second opinion, basically the recommended treatment was rest, fish oils and Arthro Choice, he is completely fine now, never had the operation either.

My mom also uses arthrochoice on a daily basis. She started getting arthritis in her wrist but since she's been on the arthrochoice she hasn't had any pain. Good stuff.
