Hi Guys

As I explained in some of my earlier posts I am a newbie just going into my 3rd week at the gym
been following a 6 meal diet so far everyday without skipping
but I am hungry the whole time even after meals

For example: I can only gym in the mornings before work because afternoons is to hectic with the kids and family etc etc
this morning at 5am when i woke up I ate 1/2cup of raw oats with a whole grain yoghurt and a bananna followed by my protein shake (evox synergy) and 5g of creatine mon

I hit the gym at 5:30 (its just around the corner from my house), gym for 45-1hour and go back home to get dressed for work before I left the house i poped another shake and a small bowl of watermelon

+/- 30min drive 2 work, at about 8:30 i was so freakin hungry i wanted to die, at about 9:30 i ordered a chicken breast and a salad across the road from where i work and wolfed it down it helped a bit but i am still hungry, just after 10 i ate a bannana and another shake, its now 11:05 and i am already counting the minutes till my next meal....lol

it been like this since my second week at gym (keep in mind I use to never eat in the mornings, only 1x big lunch and 1x big supper all mostly unhealthy )

is this normal to feel like this?

U trying to loose or bulk...from what u described u arnt eating much to many shakes not enough whole protein give more detail boet

Hi Mike

sorry i am trying to bulk but loosing the boep as well, my current weight is 85kg
Look i am still new to the diet thing and I am reading a lot of guides and tips to help me understand everything
I forgot to include the peanuts and raisins as well

From next week i want to bring in pastas, lean biltong, more fish etc etc into my diet

The shakes I normally keep to 2 a day but today was the exception just to help me last til my next meal

at 12 i will have a 200g lean steak with some mushrooms, onions and a potatoe.

Read the diet stickies ...get rid of the boep and then bulk....check out the keto diet
as much protein and fat 6 times a day no carbs ...becareful of pasta if u have a boep
no sugar bread potatoe rice ect

When cutting I drink copious quantities of coffee to hold off the hunger pangs. I just make sure I factor it into my caloric intake for the day.

I also don't try and think about food as just thinking about it makes me feel like scoffing down.

look if you are trying to lean bulk (basically cut back the boep) and u are ravenous all the time then you arent eating enough end of story... so my suggestion to you is increase calories, increase intensity of your work outs, have more solid food! thats the big thing,have a balanced diet, i think that you arent eating enough if you are that hungry....
