IPhone 4S cracked screen

Good day Guys and Girls,
My IPhone 4S fell off bedside cupboard flat on it's face and cracked the whole screen. The phone still works perfectly but the appearance sucks. I found out a few prices for the replacement of the screen and it's veeeeeery expensive. Range from R1000 to R3000. Do any one know of a place in Pta area that does this relatively cheap, but quality workmanship?

I live in cape town, so that won't help... But I did manage to get a generic screen for my bb for R250 and it works just as well as the genuine screen. Maybe go that route...

R1000 is a very good price. You can do it for R100-R150 less, but then you have to import it yourself.

Not worth the hassle then...

Thing is you cannot use a generic screen in an iPhone, because one of its strengths are the screen. You will have to get a retina display kit from iFixit.

Happened to mine as well. Im in durbs tho and I used a company called iFix. I know the owners and they only use original Apple spares. Costed me R1800 including the installation....i see they have a branch in cpt as well. Here are the details:

Thanks guys, I googled Ifix and saw that we have one in Pta as well. I'm gonna contact them now for a price.
