Chest pain - Anxiety related? was created by MCJ
Sup Guys

Past two days I have experienced chest pains in the middle of my chest. This ONLY happens after I pluk my moer and no other time lol. Fine during training etc. And goes away immediately after I calm down. My BP is also beautiful between 120-75 and 135-83, obviously not when I get fucked off lol, despite being on test for 3 weeks now.

I'm also running 600mg Equi but I'm only in my second week.

Anxiety?

Can very easily be stress related. I've had it aswel. stabbing pain in your chest. I don't know if I'm going to explain this correctly, but here I go... 'There are muscles inbtween your rib cage that get influenced under stress and that's where you feel that stabbing pain. I took some elzams for a bit. Even had ativans which were brilliant, lol. Good luck. Try to take it easy haha. :)

does the pain worsen when you inhale? Does is feel more like a squeezing pain in the mid-chest? Anxiety related pain would also include rapid breathing due to reduced oxygen to the heart. I used to get it in the morning and when i lost my shit (have a short fuse). BP was one of the issues and a short round of Adco Alzam will help you as per Bandit (dont use longer then 3 weeks as its addictive). When last did you get your blood pressure checked and was it on the 24hr machine or just a one off reading?

Check my BP about 3 times daily. Yup hurts lil more when inhale and a squeeze effect in mid chest. Kind of directly above the lower part of the sternum

i also used to check my BP often and reading were fine, going to the cardiologist proved otherwise and currently on meds for HBP.
High levels of cholesterol can cause chest pain
Anxiety most certainly
Angina, are you over 35? any pains whilst doing cardio lately? shortness of breath?

You mention you are on a good cocktail, SSRI's?

Had high BP late last year and have been on BP meds ever since (perindropil). Hence the reason I monitor it daily. Cholesterol levels are low. Will be 30 yrs in May. No shortness of breath. Do about 10-15 min HIT cycling post workout and no pains. Recovery between sets is great.

I have no idea what SSRI's are though. One tab is for depression (Depramil), other has something to do with OCD (Wellbutrin) and I take a half of another in evenings to aid in sleep as I'm a very light sleeper without it. (Cloment)

From what I understand Equi anxiety only starts to be a prob over 700mg although not set in stone. And also not within the first week either. Have a bit of sinus and a cough at the moment so it could all be related I guess.

I am on the Co Diovan 160mg and diruetics for my BP. Its unlikely you have anxiety being on anti-depressants and sleeping tabs brother but that is the possiblity you would like to rule out first. Adco alzam 0.25mg wont f'ck with your other cocktails but merely calm you the fck down briefly. Your GP will give it to you if you tell him you are stressed at work. There is controversial evidence that steroids may weaken the effect of your antidepressants slightly... possible anxiety there.

I wasn't implying that your anxiety was caused by the equi. Was trying to say that if you are already prone to anxiety then maybe equi isn't the right aas to be using... I could be wrong, but in my mind it makes sense, lol.

Do you have a pain or stiffness in the left side of your neck and jaw? If yes see a doctor immediately. It is always advisable with chest pain to go to your doctor for an ECG just to make sure to rule out the worst.

Well I've been doing research this afternoon and symptoms seem 100% in check with anxiety. Also did a few online questionares and all come back with same result - increased anxiety. Work has been quite stressful the past week or two and with audits and deadlines and utter incompetence its probably bound to happen. Don't mind the chest pain, its not unbearable just uncomfy. Will be trying some of the techniques on websites to combat this.

None of that.

Also been grinding my teeth a lot more lately too. Will see what doc says tomorrow regarding something to take the edge off a bit.

check drugs.com for interactions - you have some with the meds you take. Increased anxiety is a side.
