Hi there guys just a little bit about me..im 18,1,54m(genetics screwed me there), 136lb which is fair for my height and ive been training for the last 3 years although iv only recently gotten my diet sorted out. I think this site has a plethora of information and iv been researching to prepare myself for my first cycle which will be in a good couple of years, and believe me, staying away when everyone else is on is hard. So yeah im just here to learn a lot from the members here. Thanks!

Welcome dude. 18 is a little young to starting using chemical help.

Being short has it's advantages. From an appearance perspective you look better with less muscle compared to a taller guy...

Do people on here have reading impediments? He said he isn't going to cycle yet he is here for information.

Welcome to the site, good attitude and good luck with the research.

If you are taking a shot this side, i was merely showing him SHORT was no issue. The reason for showing him that *physique* is because he registered on a anabolic steroid website.

I wouldn't register on BMW's website if i drove a Merc. ;)

My apologies for my reading impediment. Missed the part where he said it wasn't for a good couple of years. Rare amount of forethought and self control to be found in an 18 year old.

Thanks a lot for the welcome guys!

@DJ i train 3x a week
Monday - Back and Tris
Wednesday - Chest and Bis
Friday - Shoulders and legs
I also train shoulders on a thursday when i can so i can focus on my legs better on friday

My diet at the moment consists of:
2 eggs in the morning, 3 slices of brown bread and some chicken or steak before i train, a can of tuna and a brown roll after i train, some chicken/steak or mixed veg a little later and usually 2 eggs before bed. Also no coke or juice and other crap junk. Theres definitely rokm for improvement but bearing in mind this is my cutting diet and i have lost 2kgs in the last 3 weeks. Id love to focus on my diet and training more but its hard with matric

Thanks again :)

bud,to be honest, you are starving your fat off not burning it off, you need to change up the food sources u are having such as bread and tolls, and u need to throw in more food in to the mix, 3x days is a good start if u are training for an hour - hour and a half per session to really get the most out of your training... i think your training might lack volume and intensity to grow loads of muscle, remember the more muscle u have the more fat u are going to burn.

Thanks for the feedback. What would you suggest I replace my carbs with? And wh
at else should I add to my diet? My BMR is around 1450cals

As for my training I train from 3 to 4:30 and I try to do at least 6 exercises per muscle group. I usually do 4 sets of 8 reps working up to my max and a 5th set with the weight I started on but for 12 reps. I try ro go as heavy as I can and I also throw in drop sets and supersets as well as high rep sets.

Over the last 2 years I went from 46kg to 65kg which was before I got sick.I started my cut from 60kgs. I would love to bulk up more but I feel I'm getting too fat especially around my lower abs and lower back.

Any feedback/critique is welcome

dont be too worries about numbers as such, at 60kgs bro the last thing u should be worried about is cutting, slow bulking, with clean carb will help with getting building muscle with minimal fat gain. u will need to gain a little fat in the process of building muscle, that is a normal thing i personally feel that u are under eating and also the wrong kinds of carbs.

your training, use a mixed variety of reps but always push that weight you are using to failure! so if u are aiming for 10 reps, use a weight that u can get to 9 reps but so heavy u cant do more than 10 reps, this forces the muscle to fail, but not fatigue... its a technique that will take time to get right, and u will also need to make sure your form is right. i think you should post up your exact training routine so we can look at that. also warm up sets should only be done on the first exercise really of each body part, this way you wont be fatigued during the rest of your training.

diet : make sure u are getting in 30g of decent protein per meal and have 6 meals a day, carbs keep in and around your work out time and for breakfast and fats spilt to the other meals. 30g of protein,30-40g of carbs per 3-4meals and 20g of fat for 3-4 meals will me more than enough for u to lean bulk for the time being, you will need to see how your body responds first to the change in training as i still think it lacks volume and intensity. food sources, chicken, tuna, beef, eggs, fish, whey protein, are all good for protein sources, carbs : oats, potatos, sweet potato, basmati rice, brown rice are good for carbs, nuts, olive oil, even egg yolks and coconut oil are good for fats.

Thanks for the help DJ :)
I'll give what you suggested a try tomorrow

I cant give an exact rep count because it changes depending on how much i can push but i aim for 6-8 on heavy sets and 10 -15 for higher rep sets, also i suffered a lower back injury and squats and deads seem to aggravate it
My training is like this:

Monday - Back and tris
4 sets on lat pull downs
Pullups till failure on wide and close grip and then on the assisted after that
4 sets Dumbell rows (these are usually between 4-6 reps as heavy as i can)
4 sets of close grip rows using the T bar
4 sets cable rows (pulling the rope downwards)
4 sets of lat pullovers

4 sets skullcrushers
4 sets machine dips
4 sets tricep extensions
Tricep pulldowns using pyramid training, so thats around 100 reps
4 sets of single arm extensions

Wednesday- Chest and Bis
4 sets of flat bench
3 sets to failure of bodyweight dips
4 sets of incline
3 sets to failure on an incline chest machine
4 sets of flys and cables going for a light 5th set

My bicep training is basically just all different variations of curls including chinups and cables going as heavy as i can for 8 reps which i alternate with pyramid training .

Friday - Shoulders and legs
4 sets dumbell shoulder press
4 sets arnold press usually supersetted with shoulder flys
4 sets of cable raises
3 sets of shrugs using dumbells and 4 sets using the bar
4 sets arnold press behind my head

4 sets of hack squats
4 sets of leg press
3 sets of lunges till failure
4 sets of hamstring extensions
5 sets leg extensions (1st with both legs, then with single leg)
Calf raises till failure for 3 sets using high reps eg 20/30 reps on diff weights

I dont think i missed anything but thats basically how i train and i adapt and change ilthings as i feel the need.
