I have always been fascinated by Special Forces and the mental barriers they need to overcome in order to go through selection and training. At the Olympia level it's something very similar to that. Eventually your mind overcomes any and everything. What's more amazing is being able to keep up the intensity. Reminds me of Hell Week that the Navy SEALS go through. You're listening to the smallest seemingly insignificant little voice in your mind that says "one more step; one more rep; keep going" which is constantly being drowned out by your body begging you to stop.
