Teeth Clenching with Heavy weights was created by FIllet
Fellows, not sure how many of you do this but after my workout my teeth at the back of my mouth want to jump out and run away. When the weight is to heavy (all the time) I clench when I lift and its killing my teeth. Considered using my old boxing mouth guard but that will just look funny and its to full to wear around the gym. how do the rest of you combat this?

Focus on breathing. When things get heavy try a proper exhale.

Good breathing techniques allows you to push harder and longer. Would suggest working on that.

I focus on breathing very much so, when its heavy I exhale, scream and clench.
You could be onto something Rhino, when I train my eyes go very red bud.

Correct Pyro, cardiologist warns of this with weight lifting due to increased BP and LVH.

I use to have the same issue with clenching my teeth. My jaw has locked as well. Could'nt open it for 2 days. I also do it in my sleep sometimes. Best thing to do is get a bite plate and try and breath properly.
