So my step son is 16 years old and wants to build. He was told to use Decra 100. I have been advised not to allow him to use any form of steroids as he is too young and I agree 100%. He is now on my case because he wants to get "big". Can you guys advise me with this. What supplements/meal plans can I give him to try. He is a typical child who doesn't eat veggie etc.

I know he is young and immature cause he wants to be "big" by 28 September for the H2O party :silly: and the more tell him it doesn't happen overnight he believes Decra will do the job.

No offense but sounds to me the "laaitie" needs a hiding.

Food, that's what he needs and lots of it. Proper nutrition is the key to gaining any muscle mass or loosing body fat.

He must eat his greens. Tell him "decra" (deca) naturally occurs in Broccoli :silly:

Hey Pixie, and no offense here either but tell him his willy/giant/man parts wont work for a very long time if he touches deca so slapping the salami will be out of the equation. That might just put him off. Hell, it would have put me off...

I am currently training a 16 year old (turning 17 year next month). Even though they might LOOK mature, their bodies are still growing and they still are just kids. I speak to him all the time about nutrition etc. He has been training wiht my help for 8 months now. He picked up 4 kg.. i would like to say just muscles.. coz he looks ripped all the time. I suggest just looking at what he eats. At somethings natural.. but please stay clear of AAS at this stage. It can ruin the rest of his life.. not worth it.

Pixie at 16 the risks of damaging your endocrine system are the main concern with steroids. Steroids like Deca/Testosterone/Dianabol etc convert to estrogens in the body, and circulating estrogen levels are many times higher than what is normal. In a growing teenager and as late into a man's early 20's this effect of steroids can stunt any further long bone growth by causing the epiphyseal growth plates at the end of bones to close prematurely.

This means that a teen who is 5'8" who potentially would have reached an adult height of 6 foot tall, might only grow to 5'9". Estrogen is responsible for stopping long bone growth during puberty. This also means your arms will be shorter and hands smaller than what your genes intended them to be.

So basically steroids will shut down parts of an endrocrine system that is still developing, and by suppressing glands/organs while they are trying to develop you can only do harm, and possibly prevent your body from reaching it's peak natural test levels.

A clinical study a few years ago showed that as little as 100 mg of Deca (nandrolone decanoate) can suppress testosterone levels to close to zero within 4 days of administration, and can continue its suppressive effect for up to nine months. This could be nine months where the teen's endocrine system would be going though an important growth phase which would now be stunted by the steroids.

Besides the hormonal issues, the emotional effects of steroids on teenagers is another risky side effect. For a mature adult man taking steroids can feel like going through puberty again with all the crazy hormonal changes. To put a teen through this can aggrevate self esteem problems and depression when coming off the steroids as well as cause acne and growth of breast tissue. There is a very high risk of sexual dysfunction after using steroids, and you can just imagine the self esteem problems an impotent teenager would have.

Teens + AAS = Very dangerous and stupid idea.

AAS don't make you big. Hard work and a solid diet makes you big....and it takes TIME...add AAS and you'll get even bigger, but that he doesn't need to know...point being, it doesn't work that way, sorry bud :)

its amazing, considering this H20 thing. I have two guys at work that have jumped on the juice wagon for H2O, one guys is using tren only and the other winstrol only - no test - no cabaser... and no idea of what a pct is. When I explain the importance they say they don't care they just want to look good for H2O, not worried about weight loss after is what they say. I think weight loss should be the least of their concerns... Pisses me off and they all know it all. Lead the horse to water but you cant make the fucker drink, perhaps I should show them some pictures of bitch tits...

Thanks guys for all the replies. I will be sure to show him this.

Flllet - same here, he doesn't seem to care what happens after that or what the side effects are and believes it wont happen to him.

Switch - Sorry you going through all this and I'm following your progress :)

It will happen to him, we all threw in comments that should scare him instantaneously like sexual sides and man boobs but Muscle addicts response should be an end to his silly ideas. At all costs don't let him do it. He has enough test in his body to grow at a rapid natural rate, eat and lift is all he needs. Best of luck.

I was asked by a parent what supplement their son (also 16) could use to get big. Kid was apparently on a rugby scholarship and was looking at making it a career.
My advice:

Buy him a Hustler and give him a 300g steak every night. At that age he has so much natural Testosterone that coupled with a proper training program and diet will give both huge, rapid and SAFER results far exceeding anything gear could provide.

Good judgement comes from experience.

Thanks guys for all your responses. Unfortunately because it wasn't what he wanted to hear that he just isn't interested in listening to what is being said. With that being said I will no longer try and assist.

Then I would tell him I am going to give him a urine test after H20. If he fails it then he's going to boarding school and for counselling. I'd make him piss in a jar but wouldn't test it. I think he'd get the message.

yep his head is about "getting big by the 28th using decra"...his father needs to step up and discipline.. being a parent is not about being popular...u cant as his step mom it will back fire.
test him and if positive ground him clear out his room and let him earn back what he had ...
good luck B)
