General lack of knowledge of doctors was created by Kkkyle
I met this dude the other day who had been on a Tbol only cycle (obviously he didn't do any research or anything) so as one can expect no PCT was followed and guess what, lil john doesn't work anymore. So the guy goes to the doctor and what does the doctor do... Prescribes him test cream... :pinch:

Just had to vent that.

Love the buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn!

I'd rather die standing than live a life on my knees.

If it was a GP I am not surprised. Its not exactly their field of expertise.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

It's definitely ridiculous bud! Thing is though most people don't tell their doctor they were on steroids. So from the doc's point of view he just thinks you have low testosterone probably your whole life.

If there was a ranked list with the causes of death and morbidity, steroids would probably not feature on it. So basically you are expecting your small-town, backyard mechanic to know what is going on under the hood of a limited edition hypercar.

Remember the medications used for PCT by bodybuilders are not used for the same purpose in the practice of general medicine, as most of these are breast cancer medications.

What pyro says about people lying is also true, and a big reason for being given the wrong treatment.

Years ago I received several injections of Deca from a GP in East London. He said not a word about PCT - I doubt he knew that it existed. I suspect there is more current, accurate information on responsible steroid use on this site than is available in the average GP’s surgery

This thread is becoming disrespectful to doctors and expecting them to know off label fertility treatments for steroid users are ridiculous.

Yes. Doctors work their butts off long and hard for 7 years to earn that title before even specialising. But people need to have some common sense and realise that your GP did not specialise in fertility and sex hormone problems caused by steroids. If you have hormonal problems you need to see a urologist or preferably an endocrinologist, and be straight up about what drugs you have been taking. Otherwise you will end up worse off than before you went to a doctor.

But I also know that many doctors think they know way more than they really do and sometimes arrogance/ignorance can lead to harming their patients. Doctors are only human. One must take some responsibility for one's own health and think before you place your health in someone's hands.

admin is right, it's disrespectful, I have yet to meet a doctor that is not intelligent. Yes I have 2 doctors that advises their patience that use steroids to contact me, but do I know 1/100th of what they do about the rest of the body, medication and so forth, of course not. And the doctors I have met are not afraid to refer you on if it's something out of their scope. Yes i'm now dealing with a physician specialist and boy the conversations I have with this man, he is probably the smartest person I have met in my life.

My ex worked in a lab and Dr's constantly phoned him for advice on results. They would ask him what dosage of meds he should give his patients etc. Not all were your local GPs.

I like my GP, he never messes around with me. Few years ago i had this weird pain and next thing im having urine test, blood and scan.
