The other day i mentioned about a scale at one of the VA gym - stand on it and hold these handle stick things and keep very still. Its called a "Tracker". Anyhoo, i tried it out last year Nov and i still kept the report even though i think its a load of hog wash.
About the Tracker
" The tracker uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a non-invasis electrical pulse, to estimate body fat and muscle mass. This electrical pulse travels easily through water, blood muscle but less so through fat and bone. the amount of fat and muscle can be estimated based on how easily this pulse travels through your body"
My report said im a D shape - more muscle in relation to body fat and weight. It stated i had 37.7kgs of muscle. I think i weighed about 67kgs back then....im 172m tall.
Anyone else seen this scale at a VA gym?
