excessive blood after shot was created by ice-rip
Hi all
Please advise me. I took my 5th shot this morning of deca sust. This was my worst pin ever in the sense that after I pulled the needle out, blood squirted out. Now I know I hit a vein. When I aspirated though there was no blood so I proceeded. I've had blood before after a pin but not like this. My question is, did any of the gear get lost when the blood squirted out. I use a 21g 1.5" needle and always inject all the way in the glute. Also wait 15 seconds after I give shot before pulling out.

Yeah Squirted. Yep definitely a vein. As long as I didn't lose the juice, I'm happy

Couldn't really see any. Though I became a lil faint after seeing the blood lol.
Thanks Mike. I'm sure giving the shot all the way with a 1.5 inch needle and waiting 15 seconds before pulling out helps minimize losses if there is bleeding like this

The gear is in an oil solution and you will definately see a thick substance oozing out. Even if you inject a water based compound which has a consistency close to blood, it will still be easily noticeable if it reverses back out.

If you are worried about losing the gear, whould it really be such a bad idea to just pin again?

So if you don't push the whole need in, you're missing out on juice?

The needle needs to go at least a inch into the muscle so depending on how much B/F % u have ...a 1.5 inch all the way in even a 1 inch if u have a low B/F % is fine ...

Anything lower than that, your juice gets lost?
