hey guys, i just moved house...now the flat i am in is fully tiled so i need to get some of those rubber mats so i dont damage the tiles with my weights. Now anyone know anyplace in Durban that i can get the proper mats?

Most builder warehouse's have those interlocking rubber mats in packs of 10 I think.

I bought 6 metres of 20mm rubber conveyor belt. Heavy as hell but you can drop any plate on it

Talk about going heavy duty, you don't play around, lol. How much did you pay for the 6m conveyor belt?

I paid about R100/meter - the belting is about 1.8m wide. It's used conveyor belting from the airports - got it from a belting dealer on Old Grahamstown road, Port Elizabeth industrial area

That's a very good price, even for a used conveyor belts. There is no stronger gym mat that's for sure.

R150 per meter excluding VAT. 140cm wide and about 3-4mm thick.
Gyms have it on their floor in the weights section. Looks like little coins.
