Which Halaal board are widely accepted?

Hi Guys

Please I need help from the Muslim brothers.

I think the subject explains it all.

Our Maximal pak is Halaal approved but we have to do the application for the certificate ourselves.

We don't know which Halaal board to use as there are so many. We asked the Local Halaal Board in Gauteng (LHB), and we asked the South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA).

SANHA says that the LHB does not carry a very good reputation in the Halaal community.

Please any help, views or guidelines will be appreciated.

SANHA is seen as best followed by the MJC. SANHA are a lot stricter then MJC.
I am not muslim but work with food as well. Help this helps.

SANHA, NIHT, MJC, ICSA

Sanha is generally the strictest and most followed by Muslims in SA. Have good trust amongst the masses.

NIHT just as good, The halaal NANDOS are certified by them and accepted by the majority.

MJC many Muslims have lost trust due to a whole issue that was broadcasted on 3rd degree.
McDonald's certified by them.

ICSA- many of the stricter guys don't follow or eat certified products by them at all.

I would advise you stick to either SANHA or NIHT so as to remove any doubts in the consumer when they see those particular certifying bodies stamps.

Definitely SANHA. I lost faith in the MJC many years ago... bunch of arrogant money hungry people.

I don't want to step on any toes here but I also saw the greed for money in some of the mails that were returned to us.

No worries bud. doubt you'd offend or step on any toes. All us muslims are aware of what they are.

SANHA will be your best bet.
