Bicep Cramps?? was created by T-Style
Good day gents

In last week and a bit i am finding that throughout the day my biceps are cramping up a lot. Weird thing is it does not cramp when i have my arms straight....only when i have my arms bent ie typing on a keyboard and then when i try straighten them they cramp hectic. I sometimes have to really straighten up slowly otherwise its frikin sore.
Anybody else ever have a retarded issue like this or anyone got some tips or tricks to help get rid of it?

Thanks

Afraid I don't get this, I get pains in my right forearm, feels like its deep in the bone, barbell curls are the worst for me

Maybe your body is lacking something?

"Some people take taurine supplements as medicine to treat congestive heart failure (CHF), high blood pressure, liver disease (hepatitis), high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia), and cystic fibrosis. Other uses include seizure disorders (epilepsy), autism, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), eye problems (disorders of the retina), diabetes, and alcoholism. It is also used to improve mental performance and as an antioxidant. Antioxidants protect cells of the body from damage that results from certain chemical reactions involving oxygen (oxidation)".

How will it help? I can understand if you said magnesium.

As per Fillets comment on Taurine:

You may actually end up getting quite sleepy during your workout with it. It helps with cramps and increases fluid retention within your muscles. Therefore I would take it the same was as you would creatine - post workout with a fast acting carb source to ensure optimal absorbtion. I usually take about 2-10g depending on how I feel (bad ass cramps, dehydrated, hungover e.t.c)

No need to specifically take creatine post workoutor with an insulin spike. Regarding cramping, there are exactly 5 billion things that can cause cramping, but the things most likely to cause to cramping for someone doing intense exercising (in this order):

1) Dehydration (which is what sodium and creatine help prevent)
2) Genetics
3) Taurine deficiency
4) Potassium deficiency
5) Electrolyte imbalance
6) Not warming up properly
7) Over-training
8 ) ...
9) ...

What you should do after making sure intake of at least 4L, supplement with taurine, potassium, and drink energade. When the you have had no cramp for three days drop the energade, two days after that the potassium and thereafter the taurine. When the cramps come back you know which one to look out for.
