To Eat; or Not to Eat was created by Mr Toight
Imagine a snail in long grass - now think of my metabolism...it's kak slow.
However, thanks to FFF (which I only took for about 8 days - found it taxing on the ol' body), I got my weight down from about 83kgs to 75kg within a month. I've kept this weight for over 3 months now. Before this, I fluctuated at around 85kg's for about 10 years. I'm 35yrs old now.

To keep the 75kg's, I have a protein shake in the morning. Then I snack on Almonds and an apple until lunch. For lunch, I'll have a piece of chicken, biltong and almonds and sometimes Woolies meatballs as they are light in carbs and mostly protein. Supper is usually steak or chicken with veg or salad. I hardly eat any carbs. Water intake is good. Over 2 litres a day. As for other supps - Raspberry Keytones, Garcinia Cambogia, BCAA's, Hypershred (just trying to finish the stupid bottle) and CLA - I take em (as per the directions) throughout the day.
Yes, sounds a bit pathetic now, now that I've read how ineffective some of them are (like CLA) but when you've been a fatty for a long time; you'll try anything. Oh, I also have another shake after gym and creatine. (only been doing creatine for a month)
So anyway, it's all working lekker - maintaining the 75kg's.
I gym about 3/4 times a week. 45min weights and 10 min cardio cooldown

But here's the problem, I want to get bigger. I'm fairly built already but I would like some big shoulders and some proper guns. I have some fat around my middle but I've dropped from a 36 to a 32 waist and I'm 1.77m tall. I have always had stubborn fat around my tits and it's the first place I'll store fat if I get overweight again - I don't want that.
I am scared that if I eat, I'm gonna get fat. You all talk about 6 meals a day! Dudes, you think David Blaine can do magic?? I can eat a slice of bread and put on 10kgs in 2 minutes! Sure, the 6 meals you suggest are mostly protein based but eish, I still worry.

My Rational questions:
Do I eat to get bigger? Is there any supp I should consider adding? Is my protein (Nutritech)correct?

My Dodgy Questions: Mass Builder shakes? Growth Hormones?(Sounds to me like it'll give you tits??), Testo Supps?

Closing statement - I want results but I don't wanna use Roids. I'll do the hard yards at the gym but you okes must know of hardcore legal stuff that works? Surely something on the shelf builds muscle. And your diet input would be greatly valued, especially from any past fatties that understand granny-metabolisms.
Cheers.

Ok first thing first here. U are not doing yourself any favours with your diet. You are the reason for a slow metabolic rate due to under eating, thats plain and simple. By eating like a bird to loose weight isnt a good thing. U want to loose weight then chop of an arm. If u want to loose fat u need to burn it off. U wanna build a decent body? U arent training enough, u wanna burn fat? U wont do that doing 10mins of cardio 3x a week.

What I am going to suggest to u is the following :

Stop cardio for now and concentrate on a decent weight training program for the next 4 weeks. A 4 day split where u will train legs. Legs account for 50% of the body so when u train legs u use a crap load of calories. Muscle burns calories, so the bigger your mjscles are on your legs the more calories u burn.

Then I want u to look at your diet. U need to have a balanced diet here. Start slow. Dont jump into massive calories here. This will cause u to gain fat.
Remember just because u gain weight does not mean u are gaining fat!! Muscles store water so when u start eating correctly the chances of gaining weight are pretty good. Having things like woolies meat balls are fantastic but ditch that shit. U need to focus on proper meals now. What I am gonna suggest to u is gonna take some effort in your camp. U will start eating 5-6 meals a day. Start on 5 and then progress ro 6 when u start starving after a meal like 2 hours after a meal that is. U need to have protein at every meal. And u need to weigh out and measure all your food on a digital scale. No scoops and cups and guessing food amounts.

Your meals need to look like this :

Meal 1-3: 35g protein, 30g of carbs and 5 g of fats
Meal 4-6: 35g protein, 10g of carbs (from vegitables) and 10g of fat per meal.

Protein sources for now :egg whites, chicken, fish, whey protein powder

Carb sources : oats, potato, sweet potato, white or brown rice.

Fat sources : coconut oil, olive oil, macadamia nut oil, peanut butter, peanuts, almonds.

Start on 5 meals a day. Drink 4l of water a day minimum excluding training water. Stick to that without jumping on the scale for 1 full week and then report back. Take your body temperature every morning ang u will want to get it up and close to 37degrees every morning. Which is done by eating! Your body temperature is linked to rate of metabolism. Lower the body temperature the lower the metabolism.

Hope this helps.

DJ... man, I just don't know how to begin. haha.
I needed a logical reply. I needed rationality, I needed someone to invest some time in an answer.
You have blown me away with your reasoning - thank you kind sir.

In return, I shall commit to making this work. So freakin grateful and amped!

Kind regards
Mr Toight.
