What movie is this?

Hi all

This is a simple request to try find the name of a movie or Tv series, not sure if it was a movie or series. I only saw part of this as a kid in the 80s or early 90s and have googled, read lists and tried to figure out what story this was without any success. Add the term toy into google and it gets stuck on toy story.

What I can remember was that there was a short guy with a luggage bag that could become heavy when he did not want others to pick it up, there was a very strong toy figurine that could lift cars, a very fast remote control car that was as fast as a real car and other ods and ends.

If anyone know the story I am talking about would greatly appreciate to get the name.

Nope that's what's so frustrating its almost 30 years ago so can't remember.

Tried it, read through a list of 300 movies from 1980 to 1999 and none of them seems to be it, that's why I am not sure if it might have been a TV series. Although from their TV series listings I did not see anything that might fit.

It was called 'The Wizard' and was released in 1986, only lasted for 19 episodes.

Can't remember what I had for breakfast, but can always remember tv shows from when I was a kid :blink:
