Keeping gains between cycles was created by G-man
just curious about keeping gains between cycles....is it really that hard??I hear alot of bro's say they struggle to keep their gains between cycles...then u get guys bridging and blasting(or what ever it is the hell they do) just to stay strong and big......it's been 2months after my first cycle and I'm weighing 89kgs compared to my 88kgs after I finished my cycle...okey sure I picked up maybe a bit of fat haha...but all this banter and stories is kind of making me negative...what is the deal with keeping gains??o and btw I think I kept most of my gains because of the excellent pct advice I got from this site, although I'm not convinced on waiting a whole month on longer esters....anyway any form of feedback would be appreciated.

Of the 2 courses ive done with my trainer who has 0 knowledge about this stuff compared to the guys on this site, I lost everything I put on

1st course my weight went up from 81 - 99 - all water im sure, lost it all
2nd course weight went up about 5kg - this was not all muscle but I could see more muscle in the mirror, lost all of that as well

Dec 2015 (2 year goal) - 97kg, 6% body fat

No ofence Alexron but that was because your diet was up to shit! and you went on cycle with to higher BF.
If you start a cycle lean have your diet on point and gain quality muscle and not water you'll keep most of it if you keep cals high post cycle and don't have to worry about cutting while your hormones are out of wack.
Expecially someone like you who is nowhere near their genetic potential.

And if your still measuring food by fist size and not with a scale and learning exacataly were your maintenance cals are unfortunately for you next time you do a cycle the exact same thing will happen again..!

Right now, I'm very focused on getting my body fat down to about 12 or 10 so I can do a course

Progress has been slow of late, so ive been researching changing to Keto to try get it down quicker

If I can use keto now to get body fat down to 10 percent and then slowly start with carbs again and then do a course, ill be happy as a pig in shit if that would work

yes rhino I think it had alot to do with my calorie intake after my cycle was done, cause I kept my calories up afterwards and I think that helped me alot keeping my gains...I just honestly feel if your diet is in-check and you and u still training hard then you shouldn't loose your gains....so are there any other opinions out there please,I just want to know what the more experienced user say about keeping gains in between cycles...

I've tried most things including IGF/GW... and nothing other than food and keeping your training intensity high really work.

Most of them as long as I don't loose the plot and start painting the town red post cycle. I always use to plan my cycles so that I'd finish PCT in Dec but then I'd go on holiday drink to much and eat shit and loose a fair amount but not all. Now I keep my training and eating 100% never taking more than a week off and keep most.

Over time you will lose most of your steroid gains the longer you are off. No matter how good your PCT is. Your age also plays a big role in how well you maintain gains. By cycling a few months on, few months off you can keep most of your lean muscle gains but you can't do a 10 week cycle once a year and keep most of it no matter how good your diet is. You have a genetic limit to how much muscle you can carry with normal test levels and this differs from person to person,

You do still keep the benefit of muscle memory gained on cycle though so if you take a long break from AAS you can get the size and strength back pretty quickly.

You need to do this on a proper foundation, once that is setup, you can do this and grow, if you decide to stop, you will return to your foundation, if you start at 60kg, you will return to 60kg when you stop

this is how I understand it, so get your foundation right 1st
