Good day

Think most of you guy's have this problem, and hopefully a remedy as-well.

When eating high amounts of protein and carbs, the body turns into a fart machine

Is there something that can be used to stop this, this is quite a problem especially
at gym when you doing heavy weights and it slips out, it can clean the spot around you
fast.

I have the same problem on occasion, as my wife keeps on reminding me :silly:

My understanding is that it is your body unable to digest the protein. Maybe try a digestive enzyme to aid with digestion or if this doesn't work, cut down on the amount of protein you have per meal.

You'll actually find that the farts come from carb sources, not protein so much - common misconception. Some polysaccharides are indigestible, bacteria feed on them and then gas gets produced. Consider if the following food exist in high quantities in your diet as they are usual culprits: beans, corn, bell peppers, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage, eggs, lentils, garlic, onions, leaks, oats, yeast, radishes, sweet potato, turnips, milk and bread.

Maybe reduce fibre intake before lifting sessions?
