Dealer who are asses

So I had this dealer that was a real ass he would charge me 10% more than usual gear prices and on top of that tells me I must pay him R100 for petrol and I know that petrol is BS as I know where he gets his stuff :huh: . So I told him to stuff is offer up his ass. The funny thing is I can get gear from XX that is much cheaper and the same stuff instead of buying in XX.
So do you guys have stories of dealers that tried to rip you off

The argument can go both ways. He is taking the risk selling gear not you, so his price is his price.

I find it very amusing that someone is complaining about the prices on the black market, you must be a real tool not to get how it works. A dealer asks a price and you can either pay that of piss off, simple as that.

but guys.....its one thing making a profit and another ripping someone off..some time back, a mate paid 3k for a R700 gear...cos he trusted the guy!

There are "dealers" that are real tools that really rip guys off and not too mention sell fakes! Those guys are not cool!

There is a hidden code of ethics among this "brotherhood" and my green grocer has ethics and morales and thats how it should be if you a decent human being!

Its the black market, its called "black" for a reason. Fly by nights by the thousands. You will eventually find a stable, reliable consistent supplier that you can trust UNLESS you like fcking around with products and brands. Then the school fees are on you bud.

My stand is simple on this topic, you pay what you have to because it is illegal, and everybody takes a risk, aint nobody making you buy from that one guy, or making you buy at all, else just go without it if the price is high or whatever, its your own choice,

Guys that rip people off don't last long anyway like Oupa said, but to complain about them is pointless.
