Building Muscle was created by olliemaartens
My son is currently 16yrs. He was a very skinny person. After only a few months he packed a few kilo's, muscle and starting looking good. Now it seems that his body is developing very slow. What can he do to try to pack extra muscle faster.
He currently is in the gym from Monday to Friday, his sessions is about hour and a half at a time.
The supplements he currently is using is (whey protein, cassein protein, pre workout, creatine, glutamine, and a intra workout supplement)
Please need some serious advice to assist.

Ollie give us some more background info, basic diet routine is the first then we can help there, input for training can also be given, and supplementation, but nobody will advise on gear, he is way to young.

So give us some background info, and we can start assisting from there.

At 16 years old all those supps IMO are not necessary. Whey yes, glutamine yes and BCAA's. He shouldn't need anything else suppliment related. The rest is all up to a proper eating plan.

Yes I need advice and help regarding supplements. Nothing stronger.
Further assistance in training programme will help. Like I've mentioned he allready is on a 5 day training programme at home with weights. No gym around so dumbbell and barbell with bench only.
I need advice in what to eat or supplement to drink to assist him in building muscle faster. As he is currently only 16 I dont mean steroids.
Hope this answer some questions

Ok as I said in the above comment those supps are more than sufficient for him.
What is his weight and height? What is his current eating plan more or less?
This is crucial information so that the gents on here can be more precise in giving answers you are looking for. Also is he an active young chap, does he play a lot of sports?

Okay i will try to give some advise where I can.

First thing and most important, Diet

A young guys metabolism is very quick, so thats making his gaining more difficult but not impossible,

He has to eat good. Here is some meal plan of the top of my head, it needs tweeking for his weight etc but an example, here and there the same as mine currently

breakfast _ meal one

creatine with sugary drink like oros to help with its delivery.
glutamine

15 min later start feeding
1 cup oats cooked
4 eggs whole, or perhaps 4 egg whites, 2 whole, etc this can change according to several factors
Glass of milk

meal 2
large serving rice
200g chicken or meat, or can of tuna
serving veggies, yes they are needed

or

toasted tuna mayo sandwitch - 1 can tuna, 4 pieces low gi bread, add 5ml olive oil to tuna mayo mixture, and enjoy,
meal option one will be prefferable but this will also do the job

meal 3 pre workout meal

cup of oats - just the normal jungle oats, forget that instant crap

pre workout

meal 4 - after workout - most protien and cals here

first his protien shake, serving creatine,

about 45min to an hour later, eating time
meat or chicken, large serving
veggies
rice
glass of milk

meal 5
Some sort of snack - almonds or cashew nuts
if he is still hungry, another serving of rice or pasta, and some meat like tuna or the likes

meal 6
just casien protein before bed.

this is basic and needs tuning but will give you an idea how he has to feed.

Thats not set in stone, but you can make changes to it, it is just to give you an idea of a diet, it may be too much or too little for him depending, make it your own.

give me an idea of his training routine and i will also gladly assist in my honest opinion in what has worked for me, some guys may disagree, or may even find fault with my diet example, there are way more knowledgable people here.

but i will assist where i can
