cholesterol count

hi bro's
My cholesterol count is 6.25.My doctor says this is quite high,the Doc said I have to do a fasting blood test to just confirm the values.
Is this anything to be concerned about?Maybe MA can answer this one for me.
Should i also be worried about it on my upcoming cycle?

That is high bud considering you're about to start a cycle and are already taking fish oil and other supps if I remember correctly from another topic. Do the fasted blood test and get on some rychol or cho-less-sterol. Maybe your high cholesterol is genetic. My wife's is hereditary and it's a battle to keep it in the normal range. What supps are you taking currently for cholesterol? What oral steroids are you going to take?

I think it might be genetics.My Doc said it could also be from my first cycle which was about 4months ago.I'm not taking any supplements at the moment,just the usual whey and I eat quite a fair amount of food.Apparently cholesterol has alot to do with the carbs in ones diet.I'm planning on taking Tbol for 5weeks and my bridge will be anavar.
Do u think I should go ahead with the cycle,MA?And is it usually the orals that give problems?

Ok your cholesterol is on the high side of normal not the high side of dangerous there are people walking around with a reading of 12 ...mine was 7.9 back in the day ...ideal is between 4.5 and 5.5 I am sitting at around 4.8 at the moment ...yes starchy carbs especially if u sickle with a boep u could be carb intolerant so cut that down and omega 3 three times a day ...u can try sups OTC or the doc can put u on statins ...I was on 20mg and have brought that down to 5 mg EOD by eating right and being active ...but u have to do a fasted test were they draw blood to get a acurate reading ...as for the cycle just monitor u will not have a problem because your cholesterol is out of wack for 3 months it takes years of ignoring before u get a heart attack ect ect ....

If not a pre-disposition then high C has a lot to do with high amounts of trans and saturated fats coupled with high amounts of simple Carbs together...

Going low carb high fat can balance it out, worked for me but rather get a pro's opinion

Like Mike said only that is not the high side of normal, it is too high. But do the fasted test asap for clarity. If you don't get it down to around 5 or lower your heart is a ticking time bomb. Long term that will cause atherosclerosis which is hardening of the arteries.

Take 5 fish oil caps a day and cho-less-sterol/rychol.

It is to high but not a train smash yet so dont panic if u had eaten and then done the test it could be way out .....

Cholesterol is a fundamental building block in the body. There is correlation between 'bad' cholesterol and CVD but not causation.

Be wary of statins and their side effects.

thanx for the feedback,guys.I'm going to do my fasting cholesterol today and see what the results are.I need to decide if I should go ahead with the cycle or not,it's kind of a bummer cause I've been planning this cycle for months now and my gear is ready and screaming my name haha.
Now I'm considering replacing my Tbol kickstart with Test Prop.Is this a good idea?
I've read conflicting opinions and theories with regards to how injectable test does not really effect the lipids??

Lets wait for the results ...personally I think u are overthinking this u are not seriously high and it takes years of having bad choleterol before it effects u negativaly ..u will now soon and can then do something about it ...

okey so if anybody is interested my fasting cholesterol test came back.Basically my Hdl is quite high and subsequently raised my total cholesterol so I believe this is really good news.thanks again for all the replies.
