diet, training, drugs was created by lobo
What percentage would you say these 4 elements of bodybuilding diet, training, drugs & genetics make up in building muscle?

Building muscle or becoming a successful bodybuilder? Building muscle is a process, not a pie chart. If you are talking about physical muscle creation then you omitted rest. And if you can sum it up as percentages, then any one of those factors tweaks the others IMHO.

I would say the end goals the same whether you on stage or not. With the rest lets say you training six days week doesnt have to be a pie
Chart they each have there own contribution to the process and im sure there must be an optimal amount of each to see the best results or maybe it differs from person to person but not by much I would assume. Reason I ask watched a youtube video of bostin loyds he was say training is 10% I know he is not the best example but got me thinking. I would say they compliment each other if you get the balance right. I suppose it goes with over training some people say there is no such thing others say dont train more than than 45 min lots of different views just wanted to see what you guys thought.

This part week I saw a master ifbb athlete transform his body into something spectacular, but the combination of chemicals he used is very dangerous. From fokkol to something amazing in 12 to 16 weeks.

My opinion .. You will train all your life to look like that, eat all the cows and chicken africa has to offer, and still not look 50% as good as him. The chemicals they use is @#$^&($#@/^... but if you willing to die for a sport, you will do anything

Well I agree with Bostin that training gets a lot of credit. I think there is an over emphasis placed on elaborate workouts and regimes, or rather *misplaced* training techniques.

I think if we had such a big industry as promoting diet and training, as we did for muscle recovery (like the science thereof), bodybuilding and building muscle will be in a whole other league.

I agree with you oupa you can only go so far naturally and without the drugs the sport wouldnt be what it is. im new to the drug side but getting a degree in it thanks to this forum but then again the drugs wont turn us all in ronnie coleman they also have there limits before one crosses that line wheres some will get the same results on less I suppose it depends on the person.

Furk I have always neglected the other elements above and focused mainly on the training my favourite part physically and mentally but I think you right probably does get too much credit I must find the right balance with the rest still learning.

It's human. I'm sure most of us are amped for lifting iron, but rest and diet are very easy to neglect.

You say you're still learning but if I recall your stats correctly your in good shape.
