Advice on female libido

Hi all,

I have a slightly odd question I’m hoping maybe some of our female members can shed some light on (or even our more knowledgeable male contributors). It isn’t directly related to steroid use, but indirectly it is, so hope the mods are ok with the post.

My girlfriend and I are deeply in love, and have been together for some time, however we have always struggled with our sex life. The reason being that she has a problem with her libido. She doesn’t have a sex drive, and can go months without it, without it being an issue for her. Before I started on the gear, although it was frustrating at times, it was manageable. I am truly happy with her, and believe there is more to a relationship than sex. I am and have always been loyal to her, so venturing outside our relationship isn’t an option.

The dilemma now is that during my first cycle last year, my sex drive shot through the roof. Strangely enough, coming off the cycle seemed to kick my libido into first gear as well. I took this as a good sign that my body recovered well, and have been feeling like I’m 18 again in that department. Now I’m onto my second cycle, and things are becoming unbearable for me. As much as I try NOT to be one of those creepy dudes checking out every gorgeous girl at the gym in skin tight short shorts, I can’t help but constantly have wandering eyes. I’m going nuts (excuse the pun) because I’m not being satisfied at home.

We have a very honest relationship and she obviously knows everything about my steroid use. We have spoken about our dilemma and she feels incredibly guilty because she wants me to be happy but doesn’t know what to do or how to kick start her libido. She wants to enjoy sex and be interested in it, but its just not there. I’m committed to my lifestyle in and out of gym, and don’t see my sex drive dissipating anytime soon. It’s really putting pressure on our relationship.

So my question is does anybody know of something she can take to help get her…. Excitable? I figured there is a lot of advice from members here for guys in this regard because the gear can negatively affect our drive and performance. I’m hoping maybe some of the female members, or anybody, knows something about the female side of this and can put us in the right direction.

My wife had that issue for a while, shot to the sex shop and they gave me Nympho drops. Works very well. 15 to 20 drops in her drink and soon she will be all over you. Tell her about it and try it. I always get some if she uses it.

not going into too much detail but does she climax during your intimate times?

Its all very good and well for us to get off wen we need it but they require a lot more time and effort to be completely satisfied, just a thought to maybe put more effort into arousing her rather than wanting her to hav a higher drive? (ignore if you do already)

I also found with mine her libido dropped substantially when she was started the pill, maybe that's something to consider as well if shes on it?

How many times per week is normal for her?

Not saying they are, but maybe your expectations are high? On cycle guys can go a few times a day. Very few women can cope with that unless it's 'new love'.

I have had the same problem with my wife for many years. When I was getting it 3 times a week I was complaining. That slowly became once a week, then once every 2 weeks no matter if I was ripped and looked really good. Now it's a big problem in our relationship. If lots of sex is very important to you then just sort this out before you marry her.

Married for many years and twice a day is still normal. If its not mornings and evenings its one or the other.

If she doesn't feel good about herself, you wont get much nooky.

Like MA said it's something you have to sort out before you get married.
My brother is currently heading down the divorce route for this exact reason! His wife has little to no sex drive and after bitching and fighting about it for years it's come to a head.
Tell her to speak to her Gyni about it.

My wife's heavily pregnant and she knows that even if she's not in the mood I need it and that after a couple of minutes she's 120% on board :evil:

Thanks guys. I agree entirely. As much as I believe a relationship is more than sex it's an important part of it. And regular sex is important to me. MA we have sex maybe twice a month. I don't think my expectation is too high.

I was a actually going to propose at the beginning of this year and this is the reason I haven't. I love her dearly but the thought of "begging" for sex for the rest of my life is scary. Especially knowing that gear is part of my lifestyle and that I'm gonna have high test level for periods of every year.

And Oupa bringing in what you said on my other post about her fat loss is something to consider. I'm no stage competitor but I work hard 7 days a week on my body and I think maybe that intimidates her, given the bit of extra weight she's carrying. The sad part about that is I think she's gorgeous. She's got the right curves in the right places and I don't need her to change at all.

Agree with the intimidation factor, some girls see your physique and are intimated. My wife only wanted to do it in the dark and she is 59 kg and fairly tall and petite.
Back to the Nympho drops, they do work - let us know.

I was in a relationship where I had a similar issue back when I was a bit younger.
Unfortunately we never managed to get it resolved and that was one of the main reasons it ended, albeit not the only.
It really did get quite tiresome and tedious quickly, especially considering I would only see her on weekends most of the time.

I was looking for advice at the time and what most people suggested is that I look for someone who shares a similar sex drive compared to me or at least has a sex drive which I would be able to live with and I hated that!! I thought they were soo cold and heartless although looking back at the situation now they were right.

So I really hope you can try and find a way to resolve it, speak to the gynaem and try those nympho drops. I did also notice that when she was on the pill it did kill her sex drive which was quite a tricky situation as the "pull and pray" method isn't the safest.

Thers is a drug that was approved late last year goes by the name 'female viagra' meant to be the first of its kind to get your lady in the mood, not sure if you can get it in SA yet tho.

on the left is Spanish fly for women very similar to nympho drops but nympho drops I find to be a superior product; any sex shop. Comes in similar box and there is a white dropper bottle inside so you can count the drops. Its around R150 and lasts ages.

She used it for years without any UTI's, when you try it try it as a test. Give it to her without her knowing and see. That way you know there is know placebo effect and it actually works.
Spanish fly has been used for 100's of years its just more refined now.

Although I don't know if its legal to give it to her without consent but she is your wife

Thanks fillet. Hw exactly "do you give it to her" is it ingested orally or rubbed onto the genital area? Excuse the ignorance....

This is a difficult one. Have the same issue. She has PCOS. So she's permanently on the pill and androcur. Zero libido.
