Good day forum members.

So I am one the oaks who work different shifts each week. Nightshift is not always pleasant especially in summertime.

So normaly when I am on NS I change some things to help me sleep and I would like to hear what you guys do to help you sleep during the day.

1. I block out the Sun or any light in my room.
2. I go to gym before I report for work, cant go after work it makes falling asleep harder for me.
3. Stop drinking liquids around 4 otherwise you'll be running to the loo instead of sleeping.
4. Do not drink any energy boosters, RedBul, Monster, fatburnes before, during or after shift. 1 cup of coffee is okayish when you wake.
5. If its hot, put on the fan or AC if your respiratory system can handle it.
6. When you on gear sleeping will be difficult as I get night sweats even on the coldest winter day so I sometimes used BetaSleep or GABA to help, no stronger meds then that.
7. I put ear plugs onetime so it blocks most of the noise outside.
8. When leaving work I also put on shades driving home so I prepare my body to calm down and I also dont watch any TV before bedtime.
9. By the time I get home Im a walking zombie so I try to not spend too much time in sunlight and snack something small like milk and eggs and go straight to bed.
10. Keep the time you go to bed constant.

Unfortunately I dont have kids yet or otherthings that can distract me from my goal. I have seen this to work only if I stick to all those things.

What do you guys do?

If you keep doing what you've been doing
You gonna keep getting what you've been getting...

If it is only for a week I take some SomNil if I really struggle to sleep during the day. Other wise I suck on a cube or two of good pure dark chocolate just to relax and get the feel good hormones going.

It is on you. It always has been...

Guys is this true? I know Melatonin can help your body's circadian rhythm. Tart cherry juice is a natural sleep aid because it's full of tryptophan. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that coverts to serotonin, which then coverts to melatonin?

Praetorian I think Beta Sleep is safer and not as addictive as Somnil though. Not sure but this is what a Chemist told me. I also rotate shifts but we work on a two week schedule. So two weeks day. Two weeks afternoon two weeks night. Two weeks morning and then day again. All 12hours. I have found that staying well hydrated helps but like you said stop drinking 3-4hours Pre bed.

2week shifts are better I think, but the 12hours bro sounds rough...
Have you tried some MK677 before you go to bed when on NS?

Not on night shift no. My body does not like the night shift. My digestion slows. Recovery slows so I don't want to be on something like MK when on night shift
