Wifi for home

For household use any suggestions for uncapped wifi? Dstv is making me sick with the insane pricing every month.

DSTV just sucks!!! even though i get it discounted i still don't watch any of the crap they play other than sports now and then.

Some of you in IT might know what it's called where people share internet packages?
one of my buddies recently came to me mentioning he has the device and we can split the costs of uncapped. basically it's 2 antennas mounted on each ones roof and then wired into a modem in each household. he then does some setting up and BOOM i now have access. the devices normally go for around 2k and then the cost would be that of the internet package which we are now sharing. lucky for me he had the devices lying at home and he didn't charge me for it.

he mentioned that people normally do this if their business is not too far from home. said they go for up to 40km with the device being a bit pricier than the basic 2k setup we are currently using.

Wow have I had problems with them before, specially using their network for VoIP.

never used them, got this flyer at home but we not yet fiber ready, the price is not bad for uncapped
