That would be out or my scope to advise. If it's thickening the cardiologist could try explain why but for me that would be the sign of no more steroids, there was a medical article published earlier this year showing how steroids weaken the left side of the heart. Your current options would be to make sure your blood pressure stays low and you stop using anabolics, hopefully that is enough to prevent any further growth of the heart or any further weakness.

Thanks for the reply. Was hoping to maybe run a lil prop and get back into training...guess that's out the window now. Pressure was 135/96

Sorry to hear Wayne, what happen for you to be tested because the symptoms experienced by you can also alert some of us if it should happen to us. Guess the most common symptom is out of breath.

Sorry to hear bud. This is very common with steroid users. Hard to avoid it is you've been using gear a long time. Having high blood pressure + using gear will inevitably cause the left ventricular wall to thicken if you have a high BMI, even if it's all muscle. This has been a big concern of mine since I've been struggling to keep my blood pressure under 140/80 when I'm on cycle. I've been off now for my longest break in years.

Your blood pressure is to high for a kidney or heart condition. You need to be on the 120s and your bottom reading 80 and below. What is your pulse doing? My cardiologist told me that each person's heart has X beats in a life time so keeping it in the 60s and 70s will extend the life of your heart.

It is difficult and I'm off too. My blood pressure is down to 117 over 74 (tested a bit earlier) and my pulse of 62. I've come off a ton of blood pressure meds and heading back to my cardiologist to do measurements of the heart and a full checkup, but I won't be going back on anytime soon. It's been hell on the body not having juice in me, but I'm slowly starting to accept myself as is.

Yes it's not easy hey. Glad to hear your BP and heart rate are good. Long term health must always come first. I am ready for a mellow cycle soon if my next blood work looks good and my BP is manageable. But I will be taking longer breaks between cycles in future.

If the hole that the blood pumps through of the aorta enlarges along with the ventricular wall enlargement, and the aorta's elasticity is not compromised, then all good.

I had pneumonia a year or so ago, so during all that I had an ECG done and was told then to keep an eye on it...so I actually wanted to get back into training and taking some test so went to check how's my heart n kidneys doing before...no real symptoms bud. That's why when the experienced on here keep talking about blood work, its important listen!

Currently on 50mg Zartan, think maybe I should up that to 100mg? My heart rate was around 81 I think....but a few months back I used to be in the 60's.

Gosh...it is hard, its like I can't even bring myself to the weights without juice. And doc says depending on my kidney results, no supplements either..

Bud I have it too, and I would really strongly to advise to think smart. Like Muscle said, your health comes first. Get that BP down and get yourself cardio fit, do not touch anti inflams and careful of other pain meds, if you need something try panado and if it's severe stilpain. Let's get your BP down for 6 months and let's get your heart rate down. Let's see how healthy we can get you, watch your red meat intake and drop your protein, you can't for the next while focus on a bodybuilding diet, I am down 20kgs from my normal weight and 35kgs from my hardcore gear weight but my body is loving me for It, even though I'm turning into a pencil. I am not allowed above 130 grams of protein a day which is a little for even my current weight. I really don't want to hear something has gone seriously wrong with you, so pleas keep it safe. And a big one, stay away from creatine, if you went to my nephrologist she would lay into properly if she knows you using creatine, she would accept juice over creatine for the kidneys.

Speak to your cardiologist but the lower your get that BP the longer you going to live. New studies are showing under 120 is the perfect reading for your blood pressure. Do the math and think if you can save 20 beats per minute on your heart how much longer the ticket will work

I can't recall what the values are for all the results, please upload results, just hide the details. From what I can recall your kidneys look ok. My worry is more so the heart muscle, but kidneys are closely linked which is some good news. We do need to get that BP right down, and looking to hear what the cardiologist has to say.

Thanks pump, actually didnt go to cardiologist. Doc (second doc) told me kidneys are fine and the heart hypertrophy is most likely due to my BP and if I get my BP down that should sort that out....do you still think I should see a cardiologist? And....is it still a no on any Juice in you valued and trusted opinion?

100 percent to see a cardiologist. He must measure your heart size and to see how that left ventricle is handling. If he gives you a clean bill of health then I'd feel comfortable for you to cycle or else you could be playing a dangerous game.
