AAS and neurobiological changes was created by Robbie
Hi guys,

I read an interesting study where rats were dosed with nandrolone and measured against a placebo. The rats were fed cannibis in both cases, but the rats that were dosed with aas had an in increase in drug seeking behaviour. So I gather if any of you guys are users of a drug of dependence along with androgenic anabolic steroids you are at risk as the the case study shows that it does cause neurobiological changes in the brain (nandrolone-induced decrease in reward function) which you compensate by voluntarily increasing your drug intake.

Have a read

Thanks Robbie. I was thinking about something like this due to a friend who is a recovering addict. He has been training with me and was asking about AAS usage and considering it. I would have loved to have helped him with it but was unsure due to his problem.

This just answered the question I was unsure I could ask due to the rules around drug abuse discussions.

All that aside, it's quite an interesting topic. I'm wondering if this is the same with alcohol?

I gather that it would be applicable to mostly any of the abusable vices as it deminishes the reward function in the brain, but again these are studies on rats and not thinking, logical beings that are able to identify and interpret their behaviour. "Food for thought though"

They changed me
For the better in my opinion, and others opinions, more confident, can feel my presence in meetings and mass presentation. I think only if you are mature enough to handle it. The young ones normally get aggressive and out of control. No offense to young members it's just easier as you get older.

Probably because I'm slightly aggressive by nature.

I have also experienced what Oupa says, different compounds affected my mood or mentality in different ways.

Nandrolone for me is a very emotional compound.

All the others I have tried only positives.

I have not tried Trenbolone yet but I am working on it and I am sure once I get to 12% Oupa and me are going to have a blast at setting up that cycle.

It is on you. It always has been...
