Hey guys, know this is a random question.. but does anyone train at the Virgin Active in Groenkloof, Pretoria? Looking for somebody to train with?? All my friends tend to fade after about 2 weeks of training with me and training hard on your own all the time really sucks!!

You are not alone, my ex-training partner could not handle the heat either ... I wanna go,go,go he wants to stand around frustrating to say the least. But i feel ur pain, gets a bit much sometimes when all you need is the other guys willingness to draw from when you are not in the mood to train. Needless still searching for a good training partner myself.

Yeah, I know what you mean... my girlfriend's brother also wanted to train at my gym and he did okey until we got to leg day... he couldn't walk for a week... he never showed-up for his next session.

Now I'm back to training alone, except on chest and leg day when my dad spots for me... he used to be an off-road rally driver and they also trained a lot with weights... he is very old school and he pushes me until I kak myself.

Good luck in finding a gym partner.

Where do you train admin? I also feel the pain, have to drive 45 mins to get to train with my partner, so that's why I can't have food post workout, have to go shakes.

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.

I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere, so I have a gym at home. I have quite a collection of equipment and tons of weights. I'm very proud of my little gym.

Most of the equipment are still from my dad's training days... some of the plates have "Reg Park" and "Hannes Venter" casted on them so I like to believe that they are collectibles by now.

A farm boy .... Hope you stay away from the livestock when you on test ..... :laugh:

I also train allone. Probably why i stay "semi injured" throughout the year.
