These guys eat like you can't believe. They train twice a day. Usually weight training in the morning and strong man events in the after noon. The also only train four days a week to recover properly.

I heard he is gonna start boxing, don't know if it's true.

If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

He was an amateur boxer before he made his world strongman debut. Havent heard of him goin back to it or taking it seriously but he was well established according to some of the comments and interviews about his boxing experience: if he wanted 2 take it seriously at his weight he would be a super heavy. Also steroid testing, not sure on strongman regulation if any but the boxing federations world wide will be 10x stricter. And No one is denying the fact that he is on some other gear;) he is a freak of nature, on another level, best strongman ever! Genetics, diet, training, dedication, an element of craziness and good gear is most probably the recipe;)

You must be joking??
Ha Ha he is almost always referred to as one of the fastest strongmen ever, and besides his conditioning and consistency in every event his speed is also his biggest asset.
Also challenge anyone to find a super heavy in modern boxing or even a heavy for that matter that is drastically faster than mariuzs, would guess based on his size and movement he would have similar technique to mike tyson, would love to check him in action. Those guys are serious athletes through and through, you try pull even a light car 25 meters, more fitness, speed, technique and athletisism than brute strength and size. Similar trend in the other events aswel;) some of the best athletes in the world!

mr moose you must be shitting me. i've seen marius compete. the dude is quick for a strongman but nowhere near as fast as a mike tyson. the guy will get his teeth handed to him by a real boxer. what i'm not too sure of is exactly how he can stay ripped at such a weight. if you look at those other guys, like glen ross...they look like they're pregnant.

You must be joking MrMoose. A decent professional heavy weight boxer will beat him so bad he'll be ashamed of showing his face in public ever again.

Yea vega obviosly not arguing that point: and nowhere near as quick as iron mike was saying stature and style wise.
The oaks +-32 now (going by memory)and has only done amateur boxing in poland but he is incredibly fast! Again Super heavys not many, actually not any i would say are faster than him. The guys an athlete you underating their aletisism some of these strongmen have 100m times in the 11 seconds.
Not saying he will do anything professionally but super heavys have always had their fair share of fun if you think back to butterbean and those guys about 5 years ago, he will give a good exibition bout if his amateur hype is true.
Glen Ross is ridiculous! obese to the max, that oak can squat and deadlift like a machine though.
Peace

He's the Tiger Woods of strongman! Absolutely built for his sport.

As a side note Butterbean was a three round excibition fighter and could barely make that so he's a slugger not a boxer.

I understand he eats alot of crap too..

One thing I never understood was his pop career though. I've never seen one lean piece of meat look so darn queer...

Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view
